Math Lessons for Elementary Grades

This book has proved really useful to me as a waldorf home educator, currently with a class 2 and a class 5 child. This is in no way a complete guide or "a curriculum" but it contains useful, creative lesson ideas and charming stories for each grade which can be used as part of a home-planned curriculum or to supplement another off the shelf curriculum. I think it could also easily be used by a parent who has a child in a Steiner school who is struggling a bit in maths, or indeed for any parent who feels their child could use a different approach than that offered in state schools.

We are home-schooling, with a steiner context for educating our children, and this book has been a great guide for teaching maths from the beginning, in a fun and interesting way that leaves my children excited about learning maths.
