Rieibi X100V Retro Leather Case for Fujifilm X100V Digital Camera - Protective With Strap and Grip - Green

This is a really well-made camera case. The leather has a nice retro look and feels high quality in hand. It looks fantastic and seems durable. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit my Fujifilm X100VI, actually it does fit, but the case mount hole (tripod mount) is in another place. So, I'm going to return it. 5 stars anyway.

When I got a Fujifilm X100V back in 2022 I sought a case that met several requirements:- Bottom half which can be left on the camera all the time, to provide body protection and enhanced grip while retaining access to all switches (e.g. focus mode selector), doors (e.g. USB-C, battery + memory card), and the tiltable screen, and still enables tripod mount.- Top half, which can be attached when needed to provide full body protection while camera is in an arbitrary bag, that fits over the lens even when using a protective filter (which the X100V needs for weather resistance) and a full-size 49mm lens cap on top of the filter.- Reasonably stylish look to match the camera.The included neck strap is also more comfortable than the one that comes with the camera, so I'm using it too, although I wish that the inside surface had a little more friction.There are plenty of other X100V cases with most or all of these properties (though fitting over lens with filter and cap seems less common), but most recommended options are much pricier, so I was happy to find this one.A couple of points worth noting:- Because of the button protrusions on the bottom of the bottom half, the camera does not stand quite flat on a table, but it can still stand more-or-less upright, and this aspect hasn't bothered me in practice.- The top half of the case will not stay attached if it's just hanging down from a single button while you're walking around. I just leave the top half in the bag or car or wherever when I take the camera out to use it.

This is a nice-looking case, and well-made except for the hardware used. The snaps will become very loose after only a few uses, after which they will easily and at the most inopportune time come unsnapped, resulting in falling to the ground. (Like when you're on top of a camel in Egypt-not kidding.) Also the threaded nut on the bottom is too small, so as the leather wears in, it will stretch a little, making the threaded nut inadequate to keep the case on your camera. Unfortunately, these poor construction items presented themselves to late to take advantage of the return window. Too bad, because it's a very nice-looking case, it just will be quite aggravating to use in a short time.

It looks great, but without the screw to attach it to my camera, it's completely useless to me.Unfortunate.

Quality leather, that fit perfectly! The leather neck strap was better then the one that came with the camera!
