Great purchase
I cannot buy this in Tesco or Sainsbury’s anymore. I’ve been using this product for 50 years as my mother did before me. I don’t want flavoured granules. I want to use my own roast’s meat juices. It makes for a superior gravy. The price is very good and I would recommend people to try it. Mix a couple of heaped teaspoons with half a cup of cold water. Add to your meat juices in the roasting pan over a medium heat. Stir constantly. Add water strained from your veg until you have the gravy to the thickness you like. Two heaped tsp does two people who like plenty of gravy. Once you e tried it you won’t go back

Excellent value and worth purchasing instead of the individual packs. Works out cheaper as well.

Product came wrapped in loads of bubble wrap. Unravelled to discover the lid was unattached and gravy powder dusting all over kitchen worktop.

How to powder
Lid not very secure on powder was all in bubble bag well packed in two box's but lid needs taping before it is put in bubble wrap other than that great service and value for money

Best gravy
I don’t like instant gravy, but I love Bisto original powder. Tastes great and you can choose how thick to make it. Perfect gravy every time

Great value but be prepared for the contents spilling out in the package en route!
Great value, but they need to address the issue with the packaging. I’m guessing these are trade sized tubs and designed for a more careful delivery than Amazon’s own ‘just chuck it and it will be fine’ 😅We bought one, and the lid had popped off at one corner so the contents had obviously spilled out. We ordered a replacement and the exact same thing happened…but I could t be bothered to go through the process for a refund…please look into how to package this product more successfully, it’s so wasteful and such a shame as it is a great buy. The weight of the powder in that size of container is just far too heavy for the design and quality of the tub.Other than this, Bisto powder is absolutely the best, and far superior to gravy granules. Takes extra effort but it’s worth it
