This mug is my every day mug. I bought it because my tea and coffee always seem to be too cold by the time I am 1/3 of the way through.This cup will keep the bottom of your drink nice and warm. Is doesn’t do a good job keeping your entire drink hot.The other thing I dislike about it, and it may be just me but it feels so small. I am pretty small and have smal hands but the handle can be awkward to hold as it’s smaller than I’d like it to be. This leads you to wanting to support the cup from the bottom however the metal base gets very hot. I’ve burned my hand a few times.Speaking of the metal base. There are grooved concentric circles to help the mug heat your beverage however if some liquid splashes, spills or drips on the platform while the cup is on it, it can create a vacuum causing the cup to stick to the base. I drink hot tea with sugar and milk and many times just the tea bag over the side wicks the beverage and causes the mug to stick to the base. More often than not more of a headache because you don’t want to break the seal too sharply or you have hot beverage everywhere.It’s a cute novelty item and it will keep your drink warm (not hot) just remember to give it a stir before you take a sip.Overall I give it a 4/5 as it does what it’s intended to do. It’s not perfect and has a few things I’d rather have changed but for the money it’s not bad

I love this for my desk at work. I don’t know why I didn’t think to buy one of these sooner. I love that it has a lid so I don’t feel like any bugs or dust will go in it while I am away from my desk. It works so well that when I have cold coffee in the pot I just put it in this mug and on the warmer and completely skip the microwave. It warms it in no time.

If you like your drinks supper hot this is probably not for you. I got it to keep my coffee warm and it does that. It is a heavy cup but I'm used to it. The warmer has a pressure plate to turn on when you sit a certain weight on it. I wouldn't leave an empty cup on it for long. I rate it at a four because it doesn't get that hot if your cup is half way to full. Other than that. I like it.

Got it for a friend and she loves it. Says it works great and the coffee cup is pretty sturdy.

I looked at several models beginning at about $10. Reviews of these models were all similar and agreed that cheaper is NOT better. I started looking at more expensive models. The Misby would look great on my desk and would fit perfectly. The convincer was the automatic 'on/off' feature. The warmer only turns on when the weight of the mug is placed on it. A small blue ring lights up to demonstrate if it is on or not.To me, this is a great safety feature and saves money on electricity. I bought it.It keeps a full cup of coffee at original temperature, until the contents are half gone, then it gets slightly warmer. I think it's perfect. I highly recommend it.
