The best magnetic USB-C plug that I could have gotten.
Not only this was on offer and I got two for the price of one, so I can use on both my Macbook Pro and my iPad Pro, the build quality and the transfer speeds are amazing.The magnet is quite strong, keeping the cable connected properly, but it still allows to unplug easily in case someone trips on the cable or if it gets pulled away.On the iPad Pro, I’m using it connected straight to the power cable, but on the Macbook Pro I have it connected to a USB-C dongle where I connect extra USB devices, HDMI Monitor, SD and Micro SD cards, and power cable, all working via this amazing connector.I really recommend it!

One failed after three months
I bought four magnetic ends. I think they work OK. The magnet is a little weak for my needs (computer on the bed) and because of the right angles, disconnects with light movement. This is minor.Another problem is each end has a cold white LED that illuminates when connected. This is a negative for me (use in the bedroom) and I cover up the illuminated ends with little bits of electrical tape. FYI.The most important reason for my review is that having bought four little magnetic ends, one of them has failed now after only three months of use (the little gold pins came loose). This means the value is lower than anticipated, and I'll be shopping for an alternate product.The Amazon return window was only 30 days - but I contacted Amazon Customer Service and they refunded part of my purchase to reflect the early failure of the part.

Broken. Tiny pins snapped. Just out of the return window.
Waste of money. Broken “amazingly” just outside the return window shocker. Now looking for something way more robust - cheaply made magnetic cable-end that connects to the part left in the laptop the tiny pins snap.
