Maintenance free replacement
My 92 CB750 originally came with an old style lead acid battery. During the winters I would put the battery on a charger, and constantly have to add water. This battery is totally sealed, so I don't have to deal with adding water over the winter. The battery actually shipped with the acid outside of it. The acid is sealed in premeasured vials that are all linked together. All you have to do is turn the vials upside down, and push the vial down into the holes in the top. There are posts inside the battery and puncture the vials and allows the acid to fill the battery. It was very ingenious, and I was pleased that the battery came unfilled so I could fill it myself, and put it on a charger right away. Battery has more CCA than the original battery, so it starts well and I don't have to constantly maintain it. Definitely worth the money, it wasn't that much more than the standard lead acid battery.

Decent battery, but be warned: No returns if you get a bad one
Mine arrived packaged very well and the terminals were in perfect condition. It seems like a high-quality battery, but I'm not going to stress-test the thing just for a review, so only time will tell. The acid filling system sure is slick. Last time I bought a motorcycle battery (decades ago) I remember making a mess. With this one not a single drop got anywhere it wasn't supposed to be.Not being able to return a DOA battery once filled with acid almost made me purchase another battery locally instead. But I took the gamble because the auto parts store battery I was considering got poor reviews. It worked out OK this time, but you're taking a big risk so I'm not sure I'd do it again. If you have a local source for high-quality batteries I'd go that route instead, even if you have to pay a few bucks more.

Works good until it doesn't.
Purchased 2 batteries for 2 identical machines. Driving along one day everything was fine - then the screen flashed twice and the machine shut down. Walked back to get the other machine to tow this one home and it was dead. It's like the batteries have a timer and when it stops it won't reset. Same thing happened to the original batteries. They were the same brand but had a Polaris part number.

Seems good so far, but it didn't fit my 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 450 exactly, it was a bit taller. So I had to flatten the battery hold-down bar (which is sort of U-shaped) since this unit is a bit taller than the stock battery, but that wasn't too hard. And then I saw the poles were reversed from my stock battery, so I had to re-route the positive battery cable and extend it. All in all, what should have been a 10 minute job took over an hour... I wish I'd gotten a battery that was more of a stock fit.OTOH, adding the electrolyte was easy, the caps to seal it worked well, and I followed the directions carefully for it's first charge... my basic "not-smart" charger was outputting .6 amps when first connected, the specs say 5-10hrs @ 1.2 amps, so I let it go for 15 hrs. on that, then switched to a smart charger overnight to finish and top it off.YUASA is supposed to be a good battery, I hope it lasts longer than my last one. Holds a charge so far, cranks my ATV well. If it dies too soon I'll update this but for now it seems to work OK.

Starts hard and strong
I put this in a 1996 Honda CB750 to replace a lead-based wet cell battery, and I could not be more satisfied. I installed it and fully charged it using a trickle charger, and then left it off the charger but plugged in to the bike for about a month. The motor turned over strongly and rapidly on the first push of the starter and the engine started right up once fuel started flowing. The lights and starting power are greater than I've ever seen on this old bike. I'm very satisfied. I've taken the bike out for a 200-mile ride and a 50-mile ride, and I was able to turn the bike off and then re-start it ten minutes later after each ride, after only 1-2 turns of the motor and a single starter push.Very satisfied.
