Fun challenging solo game that's replayable
I can't say enough good things about this game! I had bought the core box second hand and didn't realize I needed a "feature film" to play. It was suggested to me that I start with this game. What a fun frustrating time! I've played it about 10 times so far, so the replayability is very high. The first eight games I played Hans the butcher won. The ninth time I finally won, however the tenth play through Hans annihilated me again. I love the suspense of it and the ability to play it over and over. The design of the game is brilliant using the covers as the boards. I like that if you add other final girl feature films it completely can change the way it's played. I'm always I'm the market for a good solo game and this exceeded my expectations. The price point for this feature film was spot on. I love that it matches up with classic horror film experiences and being a love of the classics it really holds a special place in my heart. If you've been thinking about getting this, do it. It's build for the killer to win, but that's half the fun is the frustration of trying to figure out how to survive.

Now my favorite board game
What a fun ride! It took me about 30-45 minutes to learn the rules and then I threw on some horror music and had an absolute blast. In total with learning the rules, the game went longer than expected (at about 2.5 hours) and I’m so glad it did. What an awesome, AWESOME game. I honestly preferred playing a round of this game to watching certain slasher films (and I absolutely love slashers). Overall, I’d give it a 10/10. It’s a complex enough game where you get to implement a lot of strategy. But it also is VERY replayable. Each time you play is a vastly different experience (unless you play a billion times) and I love that. Not to mention, the killer feels like he’s actually playing the game against you as well and you never know what he’s “going to do”, which is beyond crazy. I’ve never experienced a board game like it. You have two options for main characters and you have a way to make the game way harder for yourself, which is awesome. The only thing I would love to see included in each Feature Film is some lore. We get a tiny bit of it with this bad guy, but I was hoping to do some reading to find out more about the camp and hear more about the killer. Maybe a small story to lead into where we are now with in the game. That’s my only wish, but I think that really shows how fun and immersive it gets. Definitely buying more!

Hans and Camp Happy Trails: A Simple Start
The Feature Film to kick it off. One of the most simple boxes to play through making absolutely perfect for beginners! However that doesn’t make it any less thematic or fun than any of the other films. Just about all the components of this game are so well designed that you get an incredible value. A must have for fans of Final Girl or anyone wanting to try it out!

It's intense and enjoyable
Good introductory game map and villain, it's thrilling and things can get intense and desperate but when you beat the odds it feels like you are unstoppable. There is nothing too complex other than just understanding the rules of the villane and his movements and actions, however it's a bit pricy but worth it.

Get this game now! Run don't walk to start your adventure!
Holy cow what a game. Been wanting to try Final Girl for a while and finally got it and we love it! Played 4 or 5 games by now and love it even when we don't win! Great mechanics and looking forward to picking up some other feature film expansions. Don't forget you will need the core box to play this!
