Beginners Cursive Handwriting (Letterland): 1

This was a great book to buy to help my kid learn to write. The easy to follow cursive exercises build confidence and will allow kids quickly understand their hand eye coordination with their pencil to move along the paper easily. Thanksfully my kid is now writing cursives properly within few weeks of buying this product.

Really helpful book for children starting to cope with cursive handwriting.

I taught my daughter her letter sounds using the letterland books and flashcards which she picked up instantly. So it only made sense to continue teaching her to write in cursive with these characters.I love the quality of the book, the little introduction of a letter for example c and c words and even a joined up version of the words so they can see the purpose of why they are learning to write with the additional line. This they can write on top too.Now here's my but... there are 2/3 lines for each letter. Each letter is big that its difficult to keep the line steady/neat and create a comfortable flow. I'm ok with the amount as its only a quick introduction on my part as she is learning it at school too. As I'd originally taught her without the entry line, I wanted to encourage her to practice first before I expected her to begin to write pre- cursive in her homework book and hopefully she'll learn quickly to write cursive.

Great book, lovely little characters to help encourage child. Plenty of letters to practice copying and writing. Value for money!

Great book to complement my daughter’s learning at school where they use the Read, Write Inc system. This works in exactly the same way with the “start on the line and you’ll be fine” mantra. Lots of letters to trace over and then attempt to write out as well as high frequency words. My daughter who is in Reception has enjoyed working through thus book.

Good book to help my reluctant 6 year old with letter formation.

this product says beginning cursive, don't waste your money. each page has a few lines and the letters are really big. this would only. be okay for pre-k. I bought for my entire classroom and plan to return. I was really disappointed. the letterland characters are there, but the cursive aspect is really less than decent.
