I have a 1yearold and we were trying to help her sleep by herself. It worried me at the beginning I kept tracking with the camera. And thank god the camera catches her trying to climb over the crib. I got enough time to run into her and put her back. The video was super clear and easy to figure what she was doings during night time. I would recommend every mom I knew to get this camera.

I am astonished my this product! It is so worth it to get this product it blew my expectations away! It is so technologically advanced with so many feature that I don’t think I could go without now! I love the fact that it connects to your phone and you don’t have to caring around a monitor screen it was so simple to set up and install and it came with the mounting equipment. I just love how clear the picture quality is and how many features it has. It also rotates so you can move the view. I would definitely buy again and recommend for everyone parent. This would be an amazing baby shower gift!

So overall this camera works as described. I like the arm that comes with it that clamps onto a surface. When properly tightened on to that arm, the camera moves in four directions - up, down, and side to side - so you get a decent range of view.I don't love the app and the fact that I need internet connection to use the camera. If I lose internet due to weather (I have satellite internet), even though my wifi is still on/connected (just without internet), I can't use the camera. Which brings me to another reason why I don't love it - I have to create an account and my video is uploaded to their server. Seems unnecessary for a baby monitor, though they do have other features I haven't dived into yet on the app (so I can't say anything about how well it actually can tell the quality of baby's sleep, etc). I don't really care about those things.The other issue I have is sound quality. Voices don't sound quite right through the camera. I probably won't use that feature much as I think it will startle my baby more than soothe him.So this is definitely a useful baby montior, and I don't regret ordering it.

Updated Review: So, my computer guru friend came and checked out the camera and app for me. He set it up and showed me how super clear the images appear on a mobile phone. The camera produces excellent images! We like the clamp feature, too. We have actually tested this product for two days with a sleeping infant and the monitor serves its purpose.Here's what my computer guru friend said: "The SimHome app is surprisingly easy to use and is reliable. Registering and setting up the account was simple, if you're accustomed to that kind of thing, and so was pairing the camera to the app. It took less than 10 minutes. We haven't tested the breathing or zoning features, but it works great for what it is needed for right now.It's not a baby monitor that you can just keep running in the background perpetually, but to be able to check your phone , no matter where you are (and also from your partner's phone) is very helpful."Initial Review: I hesitated to write a review before fully testing this product out, but I think the info I am sharing will be helpful to others who are trying to find a baby monitor that suits their needs. I want to have a computer guru friend of mine to check this out before I use it. Everything arrived in the package as what is stated online. What you don't learn through the ad is the info about the app that is required for this monitor to work.I've enclosed photos of the instruction manual for the baby monitor. What you'll need to do is check out the description of the mobile app: SimHome in the App store. As of this writing, it has 23 ratings and the average rating is 1.9. That's a bit unsettling for me.Read the reviews and see if its a fit for you. The main reason I'm waiting to review this product until my computer guru friend arrives, is because of the low ratings on the app and because the privacy policy for the app is different than the one for the developer. I enclosed two screenshots of just a small portion of their privacy policy. They do seem to offer good customer support and say that if you have questions, you can email the developer at [email protected]'m giving 3 stars now as a preliminary review. I noticed several of the other reviews for this product did not show the product actually in use and did not mention how the app worked for them. Based on the app reviews, I plan to wait until my friend can check it out and advise me on whether this is a good fit for us, or not.

love that this is easy to set up. and can be moved when needed to. when my nieces and nephews are over i love that i have a camera to set up for when they sleep and take naps. great purchase for the price. love that it connects to the phone as well.

I am a mother of a two-year-old boy that is special needs. I am always constantly checking on him to make sure he's sleeping okay and staying safe throughout the night. I saw this baby monitor and it works amazingly for us.First, this baby monitor is not a wall monitor, it does require you to hook it onto the crib or how we did it is hooked it up to his twin bed frame since it has a canopy type thing. It was very easy to set up this baby monitor and the picture looks amazing on my phone. This baby monitor is only through an app, so there isn't a parent camera. I love how the app looks and works; however, I do have some issues with the app. The app does freeze sometimes and my phone gives me some errors. I do love how the app checks my baby's sleep and records throughout the night of how my son sleeps. Overall, I do find this baby monitor very handy and is a great choice for parents that don't mind having an app on their phone. It does need a few improvements but I do like using it.

We liked the features but the Device is Faulty. After using it for a couple of days, we faced a Poor connectivity issue, The camera got stuck so many times, Initially, I thought it was our Router issue, We reset our router but no Our Internet connection was working smoothly on other devices and we were Tired of resetting it again and again. And the camera quality is not satisfactory with that much money. Honestly, The camera pixels were noisy and did not align with the advertised specifications/Image on the page. Be sure to thoroughly check the product.!

I was so excited to receive the product but it doesn’t work. I follow the reset process, no sound comes out of this device. Super disappointed and have to return it

I don't have a lot of experience with the SimShine brand name but I was quickly impressed.This was so easy to set up right out of the box. The directions were clear and the steps to get this connected minimal. It's like they thought of everything in order to make this user friendly.Once set up I was very impressed with overall quality and ease of use. This screen is bigger than I expected and quite clear. Sound quality has been impressive and I haven't experienced any quality issues to date. The battery lasts an appropriate amount of time. Picture quality is impressive so far and I can see my baby as she sleeps.Overall I'm very pleased with this Smart monitor so far and can recommend it. This is a case of you get what you pay for, and in this case you are paying for a quality monitor that functions as expected.

The installation and setup was a breeze but the camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi, so if you have a dual band wireless network, you do need to connect your phone to your 2.4GHz network to complete setup.The SimHome app has a simple and polished app. You will have to create an account for usage. No subscription is required and the camera even comes with a 32GB microSD card for local video recording. You can control the full range of motion of the camera on the app. The pan, tilt, zoom functions very quietly, ideal for when baby is sleeping. There are many good features for baby monitoring, including temperature and humidity sensors, cry detection, breathing detection, sleep tracking, and if something is covering your baby's face.The video quality of the camera is very good with 2K resolution and good colours and sharpness. The dynamic range is not great, especially if the sun is coming in from windows or doors, the highlights are just blown out. The night vision is also good with good sharpness and good range.
