I've had this battery for about a month and a half. I run it with a DR750x Plus-2CH. I drive my car everyday and have yet to run this down to zero. My camera pretty much stays powered 24/7. I have the battery hardwired and it charges super fast (like fast) and every time I park after it's been fully charged, the app always estimates about 20-21 hours of parking recording. So it definitely lasts overnight for me until the next morning when I go to work. Once I'm able to actually have my car sit long enough for 20 hours, I will update if I actually get 20 hours of parking recording.Update:After having my car sit for more than a day. On a full charge this battery lasted for 24 hours in parking mode with a dual channel set up before completely depleting.

Great to add to your BlackVue dash cam setup. I like that you can monitor the battery life in the app. Kinda expensive for what it is. And it doesn’t last as long as I’d like. For my use, it charges enough during my commute to/at/from work giving the cams just enough life to last overnight. Then coming to low battery the next morning. Wish it lasted for a couple nights without charging but oh well. Saves my car battery. I’ll add it makes installation of the system easier only needing to tap one ACC wire and a ground.

The installation was not easy but wasn't extremely difficult either.Charging of the battery takes an hour or more (2021 Mazda CX-9). It provides about 8-9 hours of parking mode time when it is fully charged. The problem is, it gets only charged to about 50% level when I drive to work. It doesn't last enough to provide power for parking mode until the end of my workday.

I ordered the whole blackvue system including b-130x battery in January 2024. The battery died after exactly 3 months. Contacted customer service and they replaced it within a week. The second battery died as well, after exactly 3 months. This time, it took many more emails to blackvue customer support to even answer, but they did replace the battery after a month. Now I'm on the third battery and I truly hope it will last longer then 3 months... I'm not sure if blackvue repacks refurbished batteries and sends them as new, but something doesn't add up. If the product is faulty and they continue to sell it, shame on them. It would be honorable to recall and replace defective product with the upgraded version to their customers, free of charge. I will keep returning the product every time it dies.

Backup battery and BlackVue front and rear cameras are the first things done in our new car, and repeated when we bought a car for our child. It's the security you need if you care about your vehicles and yourself.

I purchased this to help protect my vehicle battery, and was hoping to eke out an extra hour or two of standby time between charges. I have the DR970X-2 CH Plus, which I purchased because I have to park in an unsecured parking lot in a questionable neighborhood for work. It was advertised as being designed for "extended parking mode."Before I purchased this battery, I ran my system hardwired to the vehicle battery for a while. Installation of the battery pack wasn't difficult, complicated only by the layout of my vehicle, and where I chose to install the battery. When my cameras were hardwired to the vehicle battery, and optimizing the camera setting to extend the battery life, I would get the low voltage warning after only about 10-12 hours of standby. Sadly, that did not change when connected direct to this battery pack. I tried changing setting on the cameras where I could compromise while still protecting my vehicle, but still achieved a similar result, no where near the advertised 20 hours advertised on their website for dual channel cameras.I drive anywhere between 30-50 minutes each way to work, which by the advertised stats should be enough to significantly charge the battery. During a 40 minute drive, I am lucky to add 15% to the battery even in warm weather. In the colder weather of the northern US, its gotten worse this winter.Now, after almost a year of use, I can say that at best, this is no better than hard wiring to the vehicle battery. The cold winter certainly hasn't helped the life of the battery, but has also exposed another issue, that makes this even worse. If the battery enters a drained state, my cameras will power up when I start the vehicle, but within a minute or so, will shut down completely for the duration of my drive, leaving me unprotected.At this point, I would not recommend purchasing this battery. It is far too expensive to be this unreliable.

Sits in my glove box running just fine for months, even in high California summer heat, I've never had an issue.

I bought this expensive battery on May 2023. At first it worked fine. But now, after less than 2 years of use, it lasts a lot less than 12 hours with a 750X dual channel system. I am dissapointed because this was no a cheap buy, it is an expensive battery and it should last longer than it actually lasts.I now have to attach a Jackery 300 to have it charged, while the vehicle is parked, because the 20 minute driving is not enough to charge it up.I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS BATTERY
