Review: Intense treatment that takes a bit of work to use - I'm not too sure I want to use a product like this. It's a fuss, unless you have some one to help you -- it is more like the kind of product that a beauty therapist would use on you. That said, it is an intense treatment, and you might want to give it a try, but I don't think I will get it again. Review: Murad Hydro-Glow Aqua Peel Face Masks - In this pack you get four Murad Hydro-Glow Aqua Peel face masks. These include a two step process. First, there is a retexturising swab, which has lactic and glycolic acids. You gently wipe this pre-soaked swab over the your face, before applying the mask. Like many of these type of masks, this is also a pre-soaked paper mask, which you unfold. It is infused with hyaluronic acid to replenish skin, minimise lines and wrinkles and seal in moisture. There is also Aloe Extract and Vitamin B3 to sooth and nourish skin. My first thought is that this is fairly expensive. The product page suggests you use this 1-3 times a week. If you used it once a week, the box would last for a month, but it is still fairly expensive. Personally, the only time I ever use a face mask, or have time to use one, is on a Sunday afternoon, which is when I tried this out. The mask is quite large and gives good coverage, but be careful. This slipped onto my lip and I didn’t realise until it stung, so make sure you keep this away from lips and eyes. You are meant to leave the mask on for fifteen to twenty minutes and just pat in excess moisture. It is quite soothing on the skin – lips apart – and both the swab and mask were very moist and easy to use. Unlike some face masks, I really did notice a difference in the appearance of fine lines after using this. As such, although it is expensive, it did seem to work, which is pretty impressive and means I would consider it as an occasional treat.

Cold very wet and slimy...yuk
I used the large cotton bud to wipe over my face as instructed then opened the sachet holding the mask, I was surprised at the slimy feel of it, it was cold and extremely wet and slimy not nice at all.. Anyway applied it an waited for the longest 20 minutes ever... It was dripping and running under my chin, down my neck and lifting in places too. I could not wait to remove it I did not like the feel of it at all.. I did not see any difference in my skin in fact I have never suffered with spots but had two break out on my forehead two days later.. Not happy. There was no feeling of my skin being plumped and my fine lines were still as visable as they had been before I applied the mask, and the only glow I had where the two shiny spots on my forehead. I would not use it again.

Dreadful
I'm not at all impressed by these hydro-glow aqua peel masks from Murad. The box contains four complete treatments, with each treatment comprising a preparatory swab, and the mask itself. The two are packed together in a single sachet with two compartments in it. The swab is a single large-ended cotton wool bud, using it left my face slightly tingly. Then for the mask. This was very ordinary indeed, and also very wet. Having seen the list of ingredients - some of which are irritants - I spent the whole 15 minutes alternately worrying about getting this in my eyes, and about how tingly it seemed. There are lots of things I don't like about my body, but barring a slight tendency to T zone oiliness, I have good skin. This mask didn't hydrate or rejuvenate it - it completely stripped it, leaving me blotchy, sore and dry-skinned, even after moisturising. Awful, with the awfulness compounded by the high price.

A treat for your face
The claims from any product to improve your skin becomes harderto achieve for the older your skin(as is mine). That said I still take care of my skin and I really like the quality of the Murad range. This peel comes in two parts, the first step being using a large headed swob to cover your face, then step two to apply a fine moisture soaked ckoth. The mask is extremely moist and has precut eye, nose and mouth holes - applying this mask is a little tricky due to the moisture and the size of the precut holes, once adjusted I kept smoothing the mask down. It has left my skin with a healthy glow and very soft.

Has a positive effect but maybe needs to be used only now and again.
My wife generally likes the Murad range of skin care products. However, like another reviewer, she had reservations about the alcohol content among the constituent parts of this two stage regime. Basically the first stage is an exfoliation process using an oversized cotton bud to gently apply the product. Thereafter you apply a moist mask which is left in situ for 15 -20 minutes prior to peeling off. Afterwards you moisturise with your moisturising product of choice. My wife said her skin felt tingly, invigorated and fresh after use and looked smoother with fewer fine lines but she would caution against frequent use due to the potential drying effect of the alcohol.

Unpleasant.
My wife, myself and my mother in law have all tried this product. Unfortunately none of us were impressed. The first step is to run the pre-soaked swab over your face. It felt silly and bit pointless. Then you place the mask on your face. The mask itself is a textured sheet which has been soaked in an almost jelly-like solution. It was cold, sticky and unpleasant. None of the three of us enjoyed the sensation of wearing the mask. I have a couple of days of stubble at the moment and the mask refused to connect properly with the skin around my chin. We wore the mask for 15 minutes and then removed it as instructed. You're not supposed to rinse your face afterwards, instead you pat any residual moisture into the skin. Even when this dried, my skin felt slightly sticky. Rubbing my face caused the product to rub off, which was not pleasant. I really wanted to just wash my face. The smell of the mask is inoffensive. That's probably the only thing saving this product from getting one star. I also feel this item is overpriced for what you get. My skin may have felt slightly softer after using this mask, but any difference was negligible. Definitely not worth the whole slimey experience.
