I’m voting this the best tool of the year. Even tho the included bench dogs are adequate, I decided to make my own out of wood and in different sizes. Also I added an extra line of 5/8 holes down the middle. If you need to clamp down your projects on a large open tabletop this gadget is worth the money. Very satisfied with the build quality and clamping power.

Item came as described but the finish on it is really rough. I will have to sand the whole thing down but other than that it works as described.

Do not waste 85.00 on this, they advertise "Quality Materials" and "Exquisite Grain" - the only part of this thing that comes close to this description is the vise block at the end, the rest of it is scrap wood (completely different colors from end-cap) and definitely does not qualify as as either "Quality Materials" or "Exquisite Grain" and you will not have a "pleasant and comfortable visual experience" - just another crap product that Amazon pushes onto you by showing on first 10 pages when you try and search for a quality portable wood vise.Kept the vise part and tossed the rest of it (will build my own).

I just wanted a wood vise and some dog holes for small woodworking projects. This gives me a portable solution and I may expand the footprint later with a parallel piece that accommodates a few extra bench cookies.Reasonable well made for the price. I may ditch the g clamps and bolt to my work bench for less edge clutter.If you don’t need a big surface, this may give you a handy accessory for times when you could use a third hand

using it to hold small items to work on in my shop , very solid and will be good attached to my work bench

It does the job but I upgraded to work bench.
