Incredible knifes! It truly cuts anything. Watch your fingers!!! The package is super cool too. I'm keeping them nicely in the box. The handle is great too. Got 3 different onces and is all I use for food prep.

Not sure where the negative reviews about dullness came from, but the paring knife I received was OMG sharp. Cut up a cucumber today and it was like slicing through air. Those who are not used to super-sharp knifes should be very careful. Reviews from other sources indicate the blade stays sharp for months. Yes, Kyoku is a Japanese reseller of Chinese knives. No, it doesn't have a real Damascus blade (would cost 10 times as much if it was real). No, the blade isn't real Japanese VG10 but (according to that other source) it is chemically identical. All in all, however, it's WELL worth the price.

Excellent knife. Very sharp. I was making a veggie tray and this knife cut raw carrots with ease. It cut cukes just with the weight of the knife. Didn’t even have to push down. Will update later on how long it stayed this sharp

High quality, sharp like razor. I would buy another one, shorter to complete the set. I would also recommend it.

Excellent value, very sharp and cuts big hunks of meat easily, comfortable handle, good weight, blade length is good but for large briskets I’d ideally want a longer blade. But hard to beat for the price. Looks really good!

Great and sharp. The Damascus pattern, however, is barely visible. If you move it around in just the right light, you can see there is a very slight pattern. The picture online is very misleading.

This knife was a gift for my chef grandson. He absolutely love the quality and workmanship of the knife. As his grandmother whom loves cooking and cares for quality when using my knifes I was very pleased when I used it. Great knife I recommend it for those whom are serious about there knife skills.

I saw some reviews about this knife and give it a try and I was not disappointed. The package quality and presentations is excellent so make no mistake it’s the perfect gift and the quality and weight of the knife is excellent!.
