You get what you pay for
I couldn't find many reviews on this balancer, so I hope this helps someone out. I purchased my G-Plus 680 balancer from a different company for around $950 total. First, the balancer does work, BUT the user's manual provided did not have the correct operating/calibrating instructions. That manual also does not have the correct procedure for changing the machine from Grams to Ounces, and I still haven't figured it out. After multiple attempts to return this machine, I was provided a video from the Chinese manufacturer regarding how to calibrate it correctly. That video's language was in Chinese, but the procedure did work, and I was able to mimic what was being performed. I never did receive an answer for how to change the machine to ounces, so I made an excel conversion chart (pictured) I keep on the machine. I balance a lot of light-weight low profile wheels, so accuracy matters. Please note that this machine is light enough that it needs to be bolted to the floor. I knew it was a gamble buying this machine, but it does seem to work now that I got the calibration straightened out. There are no vibrations or steering shimmying after about 15 cars worth of tires being balanced.
