Joy for All- Silver Companion Pet -for Seniors and Age Related Memory Loss

I got this for my granddad who has dementia because he was very bonded to a cat at home before being admitted to a nursing home. Not only has it been incredible for him, it's been amazing for my grandmother as well. They have both responded so well to this cat. The other residents at the nursing home see it and love it as well. I would recommend this to anyone who felt like it could be beneficial and would definitely buy again!

I love this cat. I work in LTC and the residents love it. Some with dementia think it's a real cat and try to feed it Lol. One coworker brought her dog to work and it barked and growled at it thinking it's a real cat. I highly recommend it.

Oder arrived in good time. Given to elderly parent with dementia and they happily chat to it, even knowing it's not real. Good for helping to settle them down when they are a bit upset.Good - lovely purr with vibration. Cute little meow. Confused a real cat the first time they heard it.Not so good - roll over motion sounds a bit mechanical but is acceptable. Cat rolls over so you can pat it's tummy. This is okay if cat is sitting on a bed or chair but not so good when sitting on a person's lap. Would be good if you could switch off that feature.Hasn't broken down yet and as long as it keeps purring and head moves, that's really all that matters.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this kitty. My mother, who has a mild cognitive condition condition caused by her advanced age of 97, immediately fell in love with this beautiful kitty. She thinks it’s real and cuddles it and loves it. It’s probably the best thing I’ve done for her! I only wish I’d found it earlier. Btw, we named her Precious.

My daughter moved into a place that did not allow pets. She had a cat that she loved but had to leave it with us. I sent her this. She told me it was the best present I could have gotten her.

Would give it 5 stars except for the fact that it was obviously used. Looked greasy and smelled- obviously repackaged. Works fine but rip off for used product.

Toy was hard plastic, neck clicked when it moved. Kids hated it. Adults hated it. Returned to seller- had to pay $23.00 to return. Could not take to Kohl s to return- had to take time to go to UPS. Not a good experience. Not a good product. Waiting for refund.

The cat has been purchased to double as a companion for an elderly relative who’s been affected by Alzenheimers. It is probably some 20 days since the cat arrived and had been presed into service. So far it has been well accepted and the feline features; the prurrrr, eye and body movements, are fairly realistic so as to do the trick. It would be a five star if not for some not-so-realistic details as for example the stiff ears and the fact that the cat is somewhat oversized.Notwithstanding, I strongly recommend this product.
