I guess you get what you pay for. It's very flimsy - the base is paper thin - so it won't last long. The whistle isn't very loud so make sure you don't go out of earshot or it'll boil dry because you won't hear it and that'll be the end of it. And when you pick it up after it's boiled make sure you're wearing a glove or holding a tea towel otherwise you'll burn your fingers as the insubstantial handle gets very hot. I was going to send it back but decided not to when I discovered there's no free return label. Shame.

Holds good amount of water for it's size, only used it a dozen times and the plastic on whistle has melted.

Very flimsy, thin steel, and mine appears to be used...had water marks on base and small dents and scratches. The box also was tatty again indicating that it was previously a returned item. Not impressed.

A must in a campervan when you stop at the side of the road for a quick cuppa.
