GOODY Products Stay Put Pony Round Black 10CT

Love this product! It kept my high pony up all day - no slippage.

These are the ONLY hairbands that work for me! I have a lot of very thick hair, anything else I've tried slips down within minutes. These will keep a high ponytail in place all day. They're quite small, I can only wrap one round my hair twice - although as I said, it's very thick. They do stretch after a while. When I can get it round my hair three times, it's pretty much a sign that it's about to break - they're not invincible. Having said that, my buying history shows that I buy a pack every 18-24 months.

Love these hair bands, I only use occasionally but they last for ages and really keep tight on your hair. Worth the price IMO.

I have really fine hair and workout a lot and find I am constantly adjusting my ponytail lol when you first get these they are great and hair stays in place perfectly. However, I find after just a few weeks they are stretched and start slipping. Shame as they are expensive for what they are, but still the best I've found. So I would defo recommend.

Effective and easy to use

I've been using these elastics for about five years now, and for a while they disappeared from the UK. I tried several alternatives which promised to stay put, but nothing was in the league of these. Blax, Invisibobbles - you name it, I bought it while waiting for Goody to bring these back to the UK. Essentially, you're getting a hair tie with a thread of silicone spiralled around it. The join is also covered by a band of silicone, which should keep the ends together well (I've only ever lost undue to it snapping) as well as giving a bit more "stick". The silicone keeps the band in place, and they're not kidding - it stays put. I've not had to adjust my ponytail all day. Obviously, as it gets older, the elasticity goes, but it takes a good few months of everyday use for it to get to that point. I've also bought Goody Stay Put Hold Elastics Sparkly Metallic Bunette,8-count #76769 (3-Pack) from a well known High Street chemist, and while they're also great, these ones seem to be a lot thicker, even if they don't match my hair colour as well as the others. These packs of 10 are the thicker StayPut bands. Do not be conned by the larger packs, which contain much thinner StayPuts. They are hopeless. Choose these every time. They really do what they promise. I've stocked up, just in case they take these away from the UK market again.

I tested all 10 of the hair ties as soon as they arrived and 3 of the broke straight away. On the other hand, the ones that didn't break worked like a treat. I have long, sleek hair and it held it completely (didn't need to do the obligatory pull when I did a high cardio hiit session like I normally do). Would recommend with caution.

Wouldn't buy any other brand. No tangling.

Where have these been all my life?! I can't believe I'm just now able to keep a high pony all day at work with these. They don't slip a bit and are worth every penny!

I used these in the USA, I am only a bit sad that they are unavailable for direct purchase in my current country. They are the only hair ties I have found that hold my hair type, without much pain or loss of hair when removing them from the hair.
