Easy to use
This is a soldering iron, meaning it stays on. It's not a gun that turns on and off with a trigger. The trigger advances the solder. It worked very well when I was soldering smaller wires in a car rebuild. It can't handle larger gauges and I would expect it to. Just remember it is always hot when it is on. I have a pair of jeans with a burn hole from a taillight project I was working on. I set it down and my pant leg got to close. The ability to solder with one hand is nice. hold the wire with one hand and advance the solder with the other. much better than trying to support the wire, the solder and the gun. I like it a lot and used it for numerous connections.

Nice tool
Works ALMOST perfectly, only issue I've had is that the solder will break inside and I'm guessing it's the solder feed teeth that does it. Heats up fairly quickly, (actually faster than my 120v Weller soldering gun, and maintains heat without having to hold a trigger). There is no "temperature control", it's either off or on, but for my purposes, the temp is perfect. Used it to do a repair on a pcb for my motorhome, and worked well. Only thing that might make this better is if it came with it's own battery rather than having to use one of my DeWalt batteries.

Works surprisingly well
Took a bit of getting used to, but I have come around. I use this for 90% of my soldering jobs now. The only thing that would be nice is an auto shutoff after a certain time, but no big deal. It works great, and I would recommend it.

Cordless soldering gun
Only used it a couple of times what I thought was cool about it was that it took a DeWalt battery for its power source seems to be OK but I’m sure there’s better ones out there get what you pay for

Very impressed
Had to tweak a little so the tip lines up to heat the wire so the solder will push in. Had to be aligned. Overall really neat and LOVE the fact it works with my dewault batteries.

Nice soldering iron
I like that it’s portable and works with my Dewalt battery. Another nice feature is you can use just one hand to solder.

Stopped working after first use
This takes a bit to get used to after 13 years of using a small handheld one. But after just a couple uses it works great so far. The trigger mechanism is smooth and comes out at just the right speed. Works good with my 20v Dewalt batteries. Would recommend 👌 UPDATE: after just one use the trigger won't feed solder anymore and I put a fresh, fully charged battery on and it won't get hot enough to melt solder. Had to use my old AA battery operated one to finish this job. Disappointing

First use success.
Eliminated need for a third hand. May be my go to soldering tool.
