The Columbia Yacht, a magnificent small sailing model to be displayed as a home or office décor, was an impressive American’s Cup Defender. Built for speed as well as beauty, the Colombia was created in 1958 by Olin Stephens.
Our Yacht model is handmade by skillful & creative vietnamese craftsmen, you will be amazed at how real it looks. Master craftsmen handcraft these highly detailed wood models from scratch using historical photographs, drawings and original plan. The Columbia Sailing Racer Model is scratched built with planks on frame construction method. The hull is made of combination wood & painted. Each model requires many hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop. The Columbia yacht beauty is amazingly captured by the full sails that extends all the way up to the masthead. The backstay rigging is tightly connected from the transom to the top of the mast. The main sail, jib, mast, and intricate rigging complete the definition of a true sailing boat.
