Bought to mix with 10.12 Dialight to tone
First time using this and didn’t want silver hair. Usually use Dialight 10.12 pearl milkshake which lifts to lovely pearly blonde, but thought I’d add some of this to try and counteract the brass in slightly darker blonde sections and add a hint of silver to blend incoming greys to root. It’s come out a nice slightly ashy silver blonde to light at bits and completely toned out brass to darker blonde highlights - has even left a slight Smokey overtone to my chestnut brown ends. Will buy again. Love this range as super gentle to hair - esp. after already bleaching my dark hair. I’m allergic to PPD so the is so best toner I use without touching scalp / skin and leave mine in foil sections to protect from reaction. Even after washing out it still leaves a less brassy tone then when first bleaching.

Great toner used correctly!
Does exactly what it’s meant to do. Took my warm yellow/brassy hair to a sky blonde in one application. Applied to dry hair, used 3% peroxide suits a ratio of 1-2 parts. Left for just 5 mins (can always re apply), but no need, knocked out the brass in one swoop.Hair only appears dry as I’ve not straightened it and before pic was with 3 day old hair and oily roots.Follow hairdresser instruction. This is a professional product and left too long, mixed to wrong ratios will have different effects, so ignore reviews where this is obviously the case and be reassured that if you want to knock out brass and replace with a more creamy ash, this is the ticket, used correctly.

I came in just to write this review!Honestly I’d never use another toner this was amazing! My bleached hair was so orange I truly held out no hopes but this lifted it completely to a beautiful natural ashy toned blonde! I really couldn’t be happier!I have seen some mixed reviews so I’m going to say that if this is used properly with the right amount of developer to toner as per instructions you will not be disappointed!

Great colour however I should have used two tubes as I have thick hair. Hense the ends still being quite yellow

Love this so much
Love this, use it with 10vol and gives me an instant soft ash blonde getting rid of all the orange. Normal hair pre bleach was darkest brown and I have olive skin, this works well, despite pictures my hair is not grey- probably if you bleach light enough or leave it on longer it would be. But it gave me a beautiful soft ash blonde as desired. It's a toner not a dye, does what it should when used correctly!

Use exclusively with the recommended Diactivateurs 6 vol. (1.8%), 9 vol. (2.7%) or 15 vol. (4.5%) maximum. Do not use with hydrogen peroxide greater than 15 vol. (5.7%). Use only the proportions indicated. When a bottle is used, open immediately after mixing to avoid the shaker bursting and damage from the product overflowing. For each application, mix the Dia color cream and the developer (mix 1+1.5). Mix with a whisk or a bottle until a homogeneous texture is obtained. Wear appropriate single-use gloves. Do not use metallic objects (clips, combs...). 1st application: on dry, unwashed hair, apply with a bowl & brush or a bottle on the roots, lengths and tips. Development time: 20 minutes. Subsequent applications: apply the mixture only to the roots and leave on for 15 minutes. Then apply to the lengths and ends and leave for 5 minutes. In some cases, refreshing with a simple emulsion is sufficient. After the development time, emulsify carefully for a few minutes. Rinse well until the water is clear. Finish with Metal Detox shampoo.

It does bleed a lot with washing though so if it’s too dark it washes out pretty well."}}]}]}
