This was my 5th purchase of the same product (B00JKPWV5L) and very soon now, I will buy it once again, another hat which existing stampede cord, from another source, is almost at the end of its life cycle. I love my hats and I love having the M & F Stampede Band, in black on each of them. They look great and are easy to install and when the wind is up, they fulfill their mission in life. When other stampede cords quit working, they are immediately replaced with the M & F B00JKPWV5L. So there you have it! And Ramblin' Bill doesn't exaggerate!

Lovely item. I affixed it to a waterproofed felt flat brim hat to keep the rain or snow and wind off my face during my commute. I think it’s quite stylish for something serving as such a necessity for me- I love it when that happens!

While the horsehair tassels and decorative bead are nice, the strings are cheap. The leather is fraying. Sad that such a nice set of tassels was put on such cheap strings.

This is not made well very thin

This worked perfect in husband nice cowboy hat, did not have to put a hole in the hat. Cotter pin went between stitches on the inside band viola perfection!
