I own several devotional books…this one by far is the best!

This is fantastic and I’d give it more than five stars if I could. If you’ve ever struggled with finding something in the Bible that’s “relevant to your situation” and shut down because it seemed overwhelming, this is for you.Last week my grandmother basically started her final journey home. It’s been hard and it’s a waiting game that no one wants to play. I’ve leaned on people I’ve only barely met because the world is just starting to right itself (Covid wise at least).I’ve been feeling a lot of things and I opened this book with no expectations. I realized that, yes it is a daily devotional. Also that I haven’t known what day it is for like three years so I went rogue.I’m including a couple of screenshots just the first couple of “you’re kidding it’s just what I needed and God is good.”So yeah I’m going to take a screenshot of the table of contents (one page) it’s almost like…a table of contents for feels. Everything from loving, being loved, feeling lonely and the one that hit me right in the feels was about feeling broken.All titles are hyperlinks. Gonna be honest here, I’m a bit of a rogue. I’ll look at more than one a day. 🤫 sometimes several.BTW I have all kinds of color filters for photosensitivity. In the first picture you can’t tell that they are hyperlinks, but they are.

“Daily Devotional for Women: 365 Inspirational Devotions for Daily Strength,” by Denise Gilmore is a wonderfully unique and inspiring devotional that will truly allow all women to take the time that is so needed in their busy lives, the time spent with God. We all live incredibly fast-paced and very hectic lives. From work to kids and everything in between, we have all found ourselves guilty at some point of not setting aside some time for worship, study, and prayer (and only on Sunday plain and simply is not enough!). And while there is nothing wrong with our time and schedule sometimes getting the best of us, that really is no excuse to not make the time for God and to strengthen our walk and relationship with Him! This daily devotional is a cut-above-the-rest in terms of other devotionals that I have read in the past. It really allows you the opportunity to enjoy what you are reading and to also reflect upon the scripture and words that are in these brief passages. If you are seeking to strengthen your relationship with God and to grow spiritually on a deeper level, then this is most certainly the devotional you need to set your sights upon!

This is an awesome women’s devotional you can read all year round! I loved the composition and how short but effective each and every devotional is set up in this book - it makes it perfect for any ladies that are on the go or have a busy lifestyle!Of course there are many ways to read this book on your own preferences, but one of my favorite things about 365 days of daily devotionals are that I can choose them by random…to mix up your lessons of the day throughout the year rather than go in order, this is one of the best ways to do it!No matter your preferences in how to read devotionals, what I’ve read from this book so far has covered plenty of insightful and hopeful lessons to learn, relevant scripture and a final question to reflect on and share for the day. This would be great as a gift for anyone, or even the perfect tool for study groups to share the encouragement!

I enjoy reading the chapters and will look for other book in Denise Gilmore name. Thank very much God God

A beautiful book for relearning who you are. Amid this chaotic world, most of us look for something to give us comfort and a peaceful sanctuary. This is my daily escape from the busyness, chaos, and challenges I have to face every day. Meditation is probably my favorite part as it provides me with a piece of my day where I can only focus on myself and nothing else. The book is well-written and well-thought-out. I highly recommend it.

I started this thinking I was going to do this daily and started out for 2 weeks and then lost interest. It had some good messages but I didn’t feel like I could keep motivated.
