This works
This book opens your mind and if you do some real self evaluation, it can transform your life, team, or business. Tim kight does the focus 3 program, and this book explains how that program, if implemented properly can transform your teams. I use it for the military and it has no doubt made a difference. Very few of us study and master leadership and culture and this book helps you better understand it.

Not All About Leadership
Purchased as a gift for my boyfriend as he is a huge Buckeyes and Urban fan. He is also very into “self-help” books, so I figured this would be the perfect combo. Which for the most part it was. My boyfriend really enjoyed it, but also pointed out that while the title would lead you to believe the book is centered on leadership, it had a great deal of football history and moments in it. Of course he didn’t complain about that, but figured I would at least share his perspective for interested buyers.

My number 1 book
This is my number one book. I’ve gone back to it again and again. I always go back to it when I need a reminder or refocus. I refer and/or buy it for my friends. It’s that important.

A STORYBOOK SEASON AT OHIO STATE, from a great Coach.
Excellent story about his storybook season to the National Championship in Football at Ohio State. Many good ideas that work in many fieldsdiscussing how they methodically and conscientiously went about building a total team effort that eventually paid off. The last part of the book is pictorial about Urbans family, highs, and people that have made a difference in his life. I thought it was funny that Dabo Swinney from Clemsonsaid he had it but hadn't finished it before the 2017 playoff against Ohio State. Clemson obviously won the ballgame and the National Championship. It was painful to watch Clemson destroy Ohio State this Year. There's always next year and I predict that both of these teams will be in the spotlight in 2018.

Good Leadership Tips. Great OSU Stories.
I know there are people who hate Urban Meyer, especially Florida fans, but since I'm an OSU fan, I love him! That's football. This book is a great leadership guide. Like any leadership book, it has ideas that some people will like and others won't. And some will work for you, and others won't. I don't have a big company, so the best part was for me was E+R=O. That alone is worth the price of admission. And obviously, as a Buckeye fan, I enjoyed the team/game stories.I have it to one of my people to read, and he loved it (he's a UGA fan). In fact it underlined and highlighted my book. So he is buying me a new one.

Very very good if you are not familiar with E+R=O
If you are familiar with Tim Kight and E+R=O, this book is just a review of that, and some personal anecdotes from Urban Meyer.

Great Leadership Insigths
One of my favorite quotes from Above the Line is, "Average leaders have quotes. Good leaders have a plan. Exceptional leaders have a system."Coach Urban Meyer details his leadership system that has worked at every coaching stop along the way to great success. Another aspect I liked about this book was Meyer's willingness to talk about his personal failings while at Florida and the role of faith in his life. If you are looking for another book that details leadership and motivation strategies from Meyer and many other legends of coaching, Championship Performance Coaching is one to check out.

Outstanding Leadership Book and More
I love coaches books. They are living on the edge of societal changes. In this book Urban Meyer is transparent and honest. It is extremely well written and easy to read. He weaves in his entire career but not in an overbearing way. His life, coaching and leadership lessons are well worth the price of the book. Some people live thirty years one year at a time. Others live 30 years investing year 1 into year 2 and so on. Urban Meyer learned his lessons along the way and share them, pain and all. One of the best leadership books I've read, and I've read a lot.

Great life lessons
Really enjoyed this book, although he’s talking about how he leads a football team so many of his lessons are applicable to everyday life. Really makes one think seriously about what is achievable if you only seriously put in the effort to make the changes required.

Five Stars
amazing book! For those who manage people for a living, the principles in this book can be used in the workplace (e.g. turning a talented employee into a superstar, and how to hold staff accountable). Would recommend this for any senior executive.

Great ideas on personal development and leadership.
Great and practical ideas on personal development and leadership from someone who has been to the top of his sport at the college level and who is now back as a head coach in the NFL.
