Great Watson Collection for the money
This review is for the 17.99 paperback collection. The Beatitudes: and Other Works This book contains seven of Watson's best known works. The Beatitudes is the largest in the collection. The print is large and there is a table of contents and page numbers. I don't know of any other collections like this of Thomas Watson, but this is definitely one of the best bargains on Amazon if you are a Puritan fan.

Great commentary on The Sermon on the Mount and on Romans 8 :28-29.
Excellent book, the author is easy to read and is full of pastoral insight on the sermon on the mount. Also, at the end is an short but excellent commentary on Romans 8:28-29.

A Purtian Classic; one of the best commentaries on the Beatitudes
This is simply one of the best commentaries on the Beatitudes. It is too bad a reprint of this book is not offered in hard-cover. True to the great Puritan tradition, Watson insightfully presents much truth to ponder. If you like this book I also highly recommend Martin Lloyd-Jones' book "The Sermon on the Mount."

A real theological juicer
No one squeezes as much out of a few verses as Thomas Watson. This book is exactly that. At times, it's almost a bit tedious, but you'll never lack for perspective on the Beatitudes with this book in your library.

Love this Book
Thomas Watson is simply wonderful. He opens wider the door of understanding on every subject he undertakes, and this work is particularly important.

Ótimo 👍
Watson's exposition of Mathew 5:1-12 is a very thorough, spiritually edifying work which has stood the test of time for good reason. There is not a single superfluous sentence to be found but Watson instead has approached his subject with the view of extracting every bit of meaning for the benefit of the soul. The book is densely packed and not to be read over quickly. Now that I have read it through, I hope to read it periodically in short chunks in order to meditate upon and savor the author's words so eloquently written.

Rich gospel wisdom
A classic commentary on Christ's commands to His flock. Well worth tbe purchase. Watson draws from the bible, church history and classical literature in his warm illustrations of the Saviour's words.
