Not recomended for hot or cold temps per instructions
I bought this to try to train my neighbors yappy dog because the owner refuses to do it themselves. If the dog is outside it barks relentlessly at every noise. I can't even do work in my back yard. I have not tested it yet because the instructions say not to use it outside when temps are in excess of 32-104 °F (0-40°C) I wish I knew that when I ordered it. I will update when I get a chance to test it out.I got a chance to test this little guy out this morning. This morning my neighbors dog noisily greeted me as it usually does. I went inside and brought out this nifty little birdhouse looking thing and turned it on. The barks quickly turned into confused whimpers and the dog went to the other side of my neighbors house. Sooooo it seems to do the trick for now. I just wish It could handle the cold so I can leave it outside for the winter.

Don’t suffer for no reason
We endured a neighbor’s noisy dog for years. Neighbor was rarely home and it seemed like 24x7 barking behind our house. Finally decided to try this device, though I was wildly skeptical. It worked immediately. It’s been almost a week now. The dog is about 50 feet away, on the outside perimeter at max setting, but he’s definitely shortened the barks from continuous to about 3 or 4 barks. Then silence. I’d pay 4x or more now for one of these devices.

It's great for professional barkers!
I was very skeptical about this product. In the past I bought something similar and it didn't work. But, what the heck?!I have 3 professional barkers. They do not like the fact that I have a job outside the house. Every evening, when I came home, they would barked their heads off. I tried training, shock collars (what was I thinking??!!!) , spray collars, and other ultrasonic products but nothing worked..The moment I turned it on, my dogs went silence. Wow, it really works. Now when I came home I'm greeted by happy tails and my neighbors are probably much happier.I have small and big dogs.It works so good I bought a second one for the other side of my backyard.

Much Woof-Woofery
We have two small dogs, a Toy Poodle and a Bichon Frise. They bark at EVERYTHING.Hard to tell if this device is working or not. I think the barking has maybe reduced a bit. What I'd like to know is what the sideways range is on the signal. The info tells what the distance settings are, but don't say how wide it goes. It looks like the box has to be straight on to the barking dog to emit a signal. Rather difficult, as they are moving targets. So, I have it set on the top setting, just in case the width is also increased. It gets to freezing or below freezing in Northern New Mexico in the winter, and the box can't stay out at temps of freezing or below. So, that means that the dogs are exposed to the deterrent only during the day when the sun shines.

Not sure how well it works
Not really sure if it works or not. I have a couple of sets of dogs that are outside at periodic times. It does not seem to discourage barking by them when I'm in my back yard, but it may have seemed to cut the barking a little when I'm not in the back yard. It seems like I can hear them barking less while inside the house.

Seems to work. Good multiple settings. How to Mount??
I think I like this. Only up a couple days and seems to be having a good effect on our beagle who stops and looks a bit confused when he races toward his usual barking place. I do have one question - how in the world are you supposed to "mount" this? It's solid flat plastic with no hooks or hangers or holds to attach it to fences. Right now it's wedged between a couple of fence stakes and tied with twine.

Complete waste of $$$$
It may have worked on the neighbor dog for a couple of hours, but a month later has no effect. Complete waste of $$$$
