Samsung Galaxy A23 5G SM-A236U Factory Unlocked 64GB Black (Renewed)

Bought for wife, not a Samsung fan personally, but did set it up for her. Condition was excellent, no problems there. Phone itself is very large for me, she loves it, maybe 1/2" larger than her previous Samsung. Inserted sim and sd card from her previous phone and it registered on network immediately.Have only had for two weeks but she reports no problems, battery life very good (2+ days medium usage, using fairly low talk time, mostly texts and apps).Seems like most negative reviews were about not working with a lesser known carrier. Sounds like any of the big three are fine. We always buy two plus year old unlocked phones, hope for 2-3 years usage, hopefully this will last two or more years.Will update post if any problems arise in future.

This was our second attempt at using this company/seller for our new to us, (refurbished) phone. We have an obscure phone carrier and it did not work with the phone after doing the complete switch of our old phone to the new. The seller Stalion (that is the correct spelling) was slow to respond and offered no actual help or care that we, the customers were frustrated and unhappy. We still gave them a second chance, sent the phone back and asked for replacement. We purchased a new plan (a plan that we did NOT NEED) from Mint Mobile because Stalion suggested that could be the problem. We again went through the process of setting up the latest phone with the new plan. The phone worked for one hour and then said "Emergency calls only: Carrier not compatible." We contacted the seller again and they didn't even bother to acknowledge our message/request for help this time. This process took almost a month, with all the back and forth of mail and extremely slow communication from the Stalion. Hands down, worst seller we've ever worked with in our many years as Prime members, ordering from Amazon. *They didn't even deserve one star, but it was required.

I didn't want to pay the full price for this phone so I bought it at $100 off for a renewed device and I'm satisfied with that value. I'm really stoked that it looks and functions like new. I'm giving it five stars because it does the job. It's a down grade coming from an S23 that was nearly perfect phone for me. I needed an LCD display though because the S23 led display was hurting my eyes and making me feel sick. I have no issues with the display on this one. Not a fan of bigger phones like this and wish it had more RAM but it is what it is. Camera is ok. Like I said, coming from a flagship phone this one is definitely lacking, but it'll get me through until I can find a high end spec device that has a display that is easy on my eyes. I like the Samsung UI. I think it's clean and easy to use. Battery life is pretty good. Overall for the average user, I think this is a good phone, but you could probably find better for around the same price, if you don't have the limiting factor of needing an LCD display.

I bought this phone to replace my last Samsung Galaxy A23 5G that unexpectedly began to not function. I'm horrible with phones and their care (often drop them), but that one had lasted several years with no issues.This one came quickly, sooner than the expected arrival date. It was even cheaper than the original one I purchased. I was hesitant to buy a refurbished phone, but I really liked this model and wanted the same one again. I'm glad I took the risk and got it. Works great and came in great condition.I only had two small issues. First, it didn't come with the small pin it usually does to open the SIM card slot. Luckily, I had a pin small enough to open the slot to remove the tray to add the cards. The second, I had some difficulty setting up the phone. It wasn't connecting to my Wifi signal and it was also giving me issues logging into my Google account for set up. My previous phone I didn't have such a difficult time with that. It took awhile, but once everything was finished it was working great.Overall, I'm satisfied with the product. Great phone for the price with numerous features that can be found (and even not found!) in more expensive phone models. Highly recommend if you want a quality phone without paying a hefty price tag.

Bought a refurbished Samsung23 phone and when I charged it last night a spark came out of it and it was totally dead. I took into a t mobile store and showed them the phone and it was totaling unrepairable totally dead. That is the first and last time I will ever purchase a used phone again. It was acting up day before it sparked out!!!!! I would not recommend this purchase to anyone.
