What a shame ....no instructions or even suggestions of how, and angles to grind knife blades....ho hum..into the bin she goes with the warning to others Dont BUY NO INSTRUCTIONS.

I make knives for fun once in a while. This jig was awesome today and at a great price point!

Me lo imaginé peor, la verdad superó mis expectativas funciona muy bien claro que hay mejores pero para empezar en cuchillería no esta mal. Este es el chico así que ya me siento confiado para pedir el grande.

Haven't used it yet, but seems good quality for $$ simple to use and sturdy.

Considering that some of these jigs sell for over $80, I wasn't sure exactly what I would get for $25. I can say, I was very pleased with what I got. Other than adding a couple of lock nuts on the angle adjustment screw, it's perfect right out of the box. Solid, dependable, and accurate (with the use of an angle gage) it's the addition my shop needed to raise my bevels to the next level.

It doesn’t come with instructions, but another review I read said something like if you need instructions to use this, you probably shouldn’t be using it. I moved some nuts around and made it work for me. Get a protractor to help you set your angle, or however you want to get your angle, eyeball it or whatever, I’m not your boss. It’s aluminum and steel and if you want to make one instead of buying one, this would be an ok example. I figure my time is worth something, and I decided to buy this one. It works fantastically for me. My grinds have never been cleaner and straighter. Remember it’s threaded aluminum plate. I forgot for a second and really cinched a bolt down, but it didn’t pull out, so no harm no foul.I think it works well, I’d say think about how you make your grinds and determine if this will help you. Then buy it if you want.
