One of the best works I have read
One of the best works I have read. Loaded with knowledge that used to be given to students closest to a teacher. A great source for anyone interested in Chinese internal arts and others.

Don't waste your money on this book.
I just received this book, and I am really quite disappointed. First, let me say that I am also an author of books on the subject of taijiquan, so perhaps I am overly critical of another author's work. But, in this case I feel justified in my criticism. This is nowhere near as valuable a resource as Tim Cartmell's excellent translation of Sun Lutang's "A Study of Taijiquan." There is very little actual text, and the photos are just reprints of the photos contained in Sun Jianyun's Chinese-language book which has already been translated by Paul Brennan and which is available for free on his website, brennantranslation.wordpress.com. I feel like I wasted my money on this book, and I hope that I can save anyone else from making the same error. Sorry to Mr. Trey for the negative review. I have heard that his other works are more informative, but at this point I am unwilling to take the risk in ordering them for fear of similar disappointment.

An insight into the martial arts of Sun Lu-Tang
This book consists of a question and answer session between the author and Grandmaster Sun Jian-Yun taken from notes made over many years of training. So many questions that you have always wondered about with the answers providing 'A-ha' moments.
