Hillsdale Alexis Twin Loft Bed with Ladder, White

I was excited to have these arrive. I waited a week for them. I was so disappointed when I opened the box. A piece was cracked, another with a chip/dent, and the end pieces were discolored (supposed to be white and were yellowing). Young kids were disappointed they weren’t getting their beds.

This is a great bed don’t get me wrong. BUT! We were missing a lot of pieces of hardware required to put the bed together. We managed to get it together with the parts we had and a little extra laying around the house.Another thing was the wood was unevenly cut and drilled wholes were uneven so we could not put a few pieces of wood on the bed due to this defect. I would not recommend purchasing this item due to the unreliable fact that you don’t know if you’re going to get everything in the box or if it’s going to be made right.

My son is almost four and he loves this bed! We were having trouble with him sleeping in his old platform bed so we figured something fun might get him in there again. It worked! We turned the bottom into a tent and put a foam play mat down with pillows and blankets. We added some fairy lights underneath too. Any kid that comes over wants to sleep in it. This bed also gave us more floor space that we desperately needed. It's just the right height for him as well. Though I don't recommend, he jumps from it all the time.This bed is also well made to me. It is much better wood than the Ameriwood bed we replaced. It was super easy to put together. Honestly, one of the easier things recently. My wood had minor imperfections but nothing to cry over. Everything was there and went together fine. This bed can be for a girl or boy. I would of loved the grey but this works and matches everything in his room.I would buy it again.
