Cool little gadget. I was looking for a USB outlet for my car and this one is nicely made and has a nice little bonus: A voltage display.Only downside is that the display consumes some current so maybe not a good idea to install this on an always-on line. I measured it and it was just 6 mA, which won't affect a healthy battery, even parked for days, even weeks. But if it's a worry, only wire this to a switched source that is only on when the ignition is on.

This is a great addition to add in an RV. But I wish I could turn off the little LED light

This is a nice addition to my truck. Relatively easy to install

I pull a trailer behind my motorcycle loaded with camping gear and rough it in the wild for a few day. With no electricity to charge my phone, I now can charge it anytime I please!

Was pleased that it came with screws and crimp plugs, but was wondering why no wire. Seems to be good quality. Will check the amps after a while.

I use this USB chargers on my sailboat, until now it looks as they work fine.

Don't know why this asks about battery life. This 12v usb adapter was easy to mount and works great
