A manual lens that is very small, making manual focusing a bit difficult but not impossible. Image quality is good. Also good in low light.

Great cheap lens, has great bokeh and it's pretty sturdy, not that sharp, but for the money it gets the job done

The media could not be loaded.  The lens overall quality feels nice, regardless of being light.objects in focus look very crisp while the backgrounds look soft, nice and blurry.The C rings are a nice touch, giving you more room to play with your new lens however, one issue I did find is thatit's pretty easy to over tighten the C rings, had to use pliers to get it out of the lens, but it's easy to get around this by leaving a tiny bit of room for tightening.Another issue I had with the lens. it' s advertised with "FOCUS TO INFINITY", this wasn't the case for my lens.when taking portraits I can only fit so much into the image without losing focus, hence the image above.it won't focus any further, nor any closer.Still I can think of several uses for this lens, product photography, macro shots etc.(Image above was tweaked in lightroom, however no major edits were made)(shot with Nikon 1 J1)EDIT: I've had the lens for a few days now, upon arrival the only moving part that worked was the aperture dial, after using it for a few days, carrying it around in my bag (overall use)the focus dial suddenly got loose, I am now able to focus.I've read a few comments saying this lens will not focus, in my case it was just the focus dial that was stuck, however I'm not sure how one could could make it unstuck safely.lens works perfectly now.so yeah it seems these lens tend to get stuck at the focus ring, I'd recommend using this lens for a bit before calling it quits.EDIT 2: there's an outer ring on the outside part of the lens (the one not facing the camera)if it's too tight, you'll have locked focus, all you have to do is loosen the outside ring and the focus dial should work.

I’m absolutely in love with this lens. I do mostly video stuff, and this lens has massive character and appeal. I have zero bad things to say about it.

Like another user said, it just did not focus unfortunately. I mounted it on my GH5 and it could only focus at objects about 5 or 6 inches away and nothing else. Tried everything. It's unfortunate because I've seen some amazing clips and stills with this lens.

Typically you "you get what you pay for" but with this handy little lens you get so much more. Originally intended for security cameras this thing is small, tiny even. It looks like a toy on most cameras even small cameras but it delivers. Both the aperture and focus ring are solid, remember this is a full manual lens. I bought it for a B camera in interviews and since it is fast you get great depth of field and a full cinematic soft focus look for pennies. You won't regret this purchase.

For the price you really can't complain about this lens. It has a good feel to it, the focus ring is a bit stuck at first, but after some time of rotating it loosens up. It fits my panasonic Lumix G6 perfectly.

The major advantage this lens has is it's wide open aperture for letting a little extra light in indoor or night situations; though it makes the field of focus SUPER narrow and difficult to dial in. Works well with my OG Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. Lacks a lot of quality of life features in modern m4/3 lenses, but it's right for the price.

This lens is honestly really great. The build quality is decent and solid, the images come out sharp and the aperture range is awesome. However, I did have some initial issues with the mount as the small hole on the inside which houses the mount release pin isn’t deep enough which resulted in a “lens is not properly mounted” error on my camera (Lumix G7). After some tinkering to make the hole slightly deeper with a screw driver it works great. And even with that minor hiccup I would say it’s a steal!

The media could not be loaded.  El lente es de enfoque y apertura manual (no tiene clic la apertura) pero genera una calidad de imagen bastante buena , no es particularmente nítida pero tiene un carácter notorio lo cual es muy muy bueno!Además de que en el empaque vino con 2 anillos adaptadores que vuelven al lente macro, la verdad que por tan poco precio se obtiene demasiado. Les dejo ejemplo de una foto macro a 1.7 de apertura (debí usar menor pero no importa) y un video variando el enfoque.

Super cinematic for it's price..

I bought this lens to use with my SVBony SV305 AstroPhotography camera to test the settings for AstroDMx for use with my Celestron NexStar SE8 SCT.It works very well. The materials are excellent and the unit feels solid.Just one complaint - there are no registration marks on the body of the camera so it is difficult to duplicate exposure and focus settings from session to session.Otherwise a great lens.

El lente es obviamente barato, y pues la calidad de la imagen es muy suave, no es tan nítida como realmente quisiera, sin embargo eso no puede ser un impedimento si uno busca darle un propósito a usar este lente fuera del precio, el toneh que genera es hermoso hay que contemplar que en las orillas se suaviza la imagen.
