This book explains in detail how to set things up unlike the Nikon manual. Very useful.

Good reference companion and goes with me wherever I take my camera.

If you have a Nikon D5300 but are finding it very complex to use this bookwill be a great help.It provides all the answers that total beginners like me will find much easier tounderstand than the Nikon instructions.I may never use even half of the options on this camera, but now i can understandhow to take good photo's.Once tip, buy a VR lens, they reduce the camera shake that make clear handheld shotsfar easier.

Excellent book to help you get the Nikon D5300 set up for yourself. Easy to read and easier to get into rather than the manual.

First impressions , very good great improvement on the manual provided with the camera. Very clear illustrations and explanations of the cameras controls and options. Can't wait to start getting some top pictures.
