Bi Folding Dog pet ramp is Brilliant.
Absolutely brilliant.!!! My spanial dog has an arthritic hip joint and has a problem going up the 3 steps into our caravan. Now with the ramp, he just walks up the ramp and in the van at floor level no problem. We also use the ramp as easy access to our 4x4 car for him with no problems. The anti-slip floor cover is great and you can wash it down easy. Very easy to use and lightweight.(5kg)When not in use it slides into the car boot without filling the boot space. You will have to train the dog to have trust in the ramp, but after a few days with the ramp flat on the floor, and a small trail of treats to encourage him to walk along it, there is no problem now. Good product and strong. Would recommend it and would buy it again.

Good product
Ordered this item predominantly for its light weight and also its price compared to others on the market and being mindful of the reviews written about the ramps on offer. I haven't got experience of other ramps but this one is perfect for my purposes; access to a car back-seat for an arthritic dog who found it painful to be lifted, and as I too have arthritis in my spine, the wrestle of this activity previously was proving stressful for both of us.The ramp is indeed light but solid, sufficiently long for many uses and comfortably wide enough with raised sides to encourage confidence for my medium size dog. It has a good non-slip surface for grip and is graduated at both ends for ease of access and exit.A latch exists to secure the ramp when folded, but my only suggestion for design improvement; as there are some of us who need all the help we can get, is the addition of a mechanism for securing the middle for manoevering into position and a carrying handle. A great product from the pooch's perspective none-the-less.

Excellent dog ramp
Excellent product, sturdy plastic,, easy to unfold and fold, will stand on the open ends while I deal with my dog, a German Shepherd puppy that I expect to weigh around 45kg as an adult. I think this ramp will be fine for him then too.It was a synch to train him to use it, all done within minutes helped by the handy advice that came with the ramp. Easy to clean and ribbed for ease of use for the dog.Having had older GSD's that I have had to lift in and out of my cars, I am relieved to have had the common sense albeit belated, to buy one of these for my current dog before I really need it as an essential item.No harm in using it all the time, it will save his legs and joints anyway.Highly recommended from me, and highly recommended from him.Goodnight.

Slippy
Good product, sturdy, can hold my 55kg lab, however I have had to purchase grip tape seperately as there is absolutely no grip for their paws to be able to walk uphill. For the price, you’d be better off buying one which comes with a gripped surface or perhaps it works better with a smaller dog/smaller car?

Great product BUT use a towel on top. Your dog will thank you for it!
So pleased with this ramp. Light to carry but seems robust. We firstly laid it flat on the carpet indoors and enticed our elderly dog onto it with treats. 2 days of this (5 mins each time only) we then raised one end with a small crate under it. before raising a little higher. Lastly we raised it to the height of our Rav4 boot (placed on a bench but could put one end on a bed). By day 5 we tried it on the car. She went straight in without a treat! Success (although she still got the treat of course). This ridged design is far better than the sand paper coated ones BUT definitely put a towel over it. This way your dog wont slide at all, the towel stays in place and ours seemed much happier to walk on it. She didnt really like walking on it without it. So glad we introduced it to her slowly. If you rush your pet they may fear it all together and it will take you much longer to get them used to it.

Problem solved!
If like me, you have been looking tirelessly for a ramp that is neat, lightweight with excellent grip and easy to handle - well, please look no further, this is the one!If you are looking for a ramp to enable your dog to easily get into your car (4x4s would need a longer ramp - more like 72" long), then this is the one. I would highly recommend it as being extremely manageable, excellent non-slip surface, very high sides, compact and lightweight. The delivery was excellent - arrived next day.I initially lay the ramp on the floor and with a nibble of food in my hand, encouraged my dog to walk along it whilst on the ground with no problems! Within a few minutes he was rushing up and down the ramp into the car with ease and even ran up the ramp of his own accord! Please be sure to supervise however and ensure that the ramp is on level ground and securely against the car, to avoid it moving. I have considered replacing the rubber feet with slightly larger ones to ensure an even better grip and also maybe attach some sort of cord to prevent any possibility of the ramp moving. However, this slight adjustment is not really necessary if the ramp is set up as suggested - I am just being ultra cautious.Hope this helps!

Sturdy and fit for purpose
I have a 30Kg puppy and I have arthritic hands and wrists. I cannot lift my puppy into the car. The puppy is as large as many full-grown dogs, but is not allowed to jump up and down to/from cars until his joints are fully developed (18 months) as his breed mix is liable to develop hip and elbow dysplasia if the joints are strained. I have found this ramp safe and fit for purpose and, after a few tries, the puppy used it with confidence to get into his travel crate. It means that I can take him for more interesting walks. One word of warning tough: the ramp has a very rough surface, so don't store it in the car touching upholstery or rugs, or damage will occur.I use it and store it in my Toyota Auris - not a huge car.
