Can I take this on a plane?

I would put it in my case in the hold, but would not put it in my cabin bag, even though it is a spray and not an aerosol, you would run the risk of them confiscating it.

Is it tested on animals?

I'm really sorry. I can't see anywhere on the packaging stating it's NOT tested on animals or the 'bunny sign'. It might be worth contacting them directly; they have a website with contact details.

Will this get rid of the smell of smoke and cannabis in a medium sized room?

It does have a very strong herbal smell which seems to purify the air but the initial herbal smell doesn't remain. It can clear a room of the smell of wet dogs and cooking food in a large kitchen/living space, if that helps!
