This beats the box any day! It sticks well to my fridge and lets me use both hands to pull out the plastic wrap straight and smooth - then the cutter easily and neatly slices it off. I put a standard roll of plastic wrap that I bought at the grocery store in it ( 300 sq feet - WITH the cardboard core sticking out about 1/2 inch on both ends) and it fit on the solid rod and end pieces that hold it in the outer container. I am VERY pleased with it. Also, the cutter is molded into the top of the unit so that it cannot come off, a problem that so many other models of this seem to have. Highly recommended!!!

Pros: It suctions quickly to the counter top for security - and easily removed. It slices the film nicely. BIG CON: won’t fit standard roll from grocery store - total waste of money.

Great for cling film and the popular brands of cling film fit just fine. Nice cutter and easy to load and use. No more cardboard box that falls apart after its first opening the box and the box cutter pulling away from the cardboard box so it cuts you every time you go to take the box out of the drawer and get a piece of wrap. But drawback is this will unfortunately not fit popular brands of foil since the tubes are about 1/4 inch too wide to fit. Seems they could have made this just a 1/4 inch wider to accommodate all popular brands of cling wrap, foil, and parchment paper.
