Fitted easy, worked perfectly

Fixed our toilet that wasn’t flushing. Brilliant product.

Had to be careful lining up the outlet in the cistern as this is a bit smaller than it needs to be (old Twyford cisterns have a larger hole than this is meant to fit) and it leaked the first time I tightened the nut. I realigned it and it was fine. I also had to buy a new pipe to the bowl as the modern ones seem to be 38mm whereas mine was 40mm. So, on to the flush, the hook which connects to the lever is at 90 degrees to what it need to be and as you can't seem to rotate it I had to use a metal ring to connect the two and due to the resulting extra length I have to move the lever a full 90 degrees before the plunger moves the water to the top of the syphon making it flush. It's not a bad piece of kit, the dual flush system is a good idea and easy to change. As for sturdiness, it's ok. Would I buy another ? Probably not.

Time came to replace toilet cistern internals, cranking the flushing handle no longer worked. On removal the syphon diaphragm was completely torn through, replacement needed, where to look.... well Amazon of course....Used syphon found ..and at half price, item delivered and fitted in a couple of days woo hoo great job am flushed with excitement.

I bought this to replace a faulty one. It was fairly easy to replace after I isolated the water to the cystern. Very pleased with my purchase and good value for money.

My fault that I ordered the wrong shape syphon for my toilet and it wouldn't fit inside the tank. But it is a very cheap version so I was quite pleased to have to get another one instead. And one that means I don't have to take the Cistern off to fit the part I needed. I guess this one would work if you've ordered the correct part, unlike me!
