Worked very well for the price, bought to flush out tankless water heater and performed as expected. May need to buy a bigger bucket depending on your situation. Build quality was fine. Water flow was more than adequate.

Works Well - The kit is good - hoses are long enough and are good quality. Used to flush multiple Navien heaters. The pump can take a bit to prime and but once it gets going - moves enough volume of solution to properly flush the heater.

This descaling kit, which included two hoses and a pump, made this incredibly easy. The overall process of hooking up the hoses was very straightforward and intuitive.The kit comes with a pump and a 3-gallon tub, which is a little on the small side. You really need a 5-gallon bucket. However, once I had the right-sized bucket, the setup was a breeze.First, I hooked up the hoses as instructed, making sure to turn off the gas and the cold and hot water lines to the heater. I poured about 4 gallons of vinegar into my 5-gallon bucket and placed the pump inside. One hose went from the pump to the cold water inlet, and the other hose from the hot water outlet went back into the bucket, creating a perfect loop.Once everything was hooked up, I turned the pump on and let it run for about an hour. The water in the bucket turns a little blue as the scaling is removed. After an hour, I unplugged the pump and dumped out the blue water.The rinsing process was just as easy. I put fresh water in the bucket, placed the pump back in, and ran it for a few minutes to flush the system. I repeated this fresh water rinse two more times to ensure everything was clean.Finally, I unhooked the hoses, turned the water supply back on, and turned the gas back on by hitting the “on”button and holding it for a moment reset the heater, and I could hear it kick on again. The entire process took about two hours, and the results were noticeable.Overall, despite the slightly undersized tub, this kit made descaling my tankless water heater a simple task. It was very easy to use and a great investment.

Used once and went to use it a second time a few months later and the pump is broken. Poor quality

This was worth the purchase! Made home maintenance of our tankless water easy! Everything just stores in the bucket for next use!

This descaling kit really made emptying and cleaning the waterless tank so much easier. Definitely worth purchasing to make your chore more efficient.

This kit Requires an additional 2 fittings for the supplied hoses to step down from 3/4 to 1/2 inch. The outlets on Girard are 1/2 male. (So the needed adapters are 2 x 3/4 inch female to 1/2 inch male and 2 x 1/2 inch female to female couplers joined together as seen in the photo. ). The Pump works well and is very efficient. A 20 lite pale is recommended and 1-4 Litre of regular Vinegar as well as 2.5 Litres of Cleaning Vinegar mixed together Ran for a hour of more depending how thorough you would like to be. I ran mine for 1.5 hours.
