Wanted a little more stretch but very comfortable
First, the good:I am 6'1", athletic 185 lbs. I wear a 30x32 pant and the medium in these fits nicely. Legs are a little long, probably by an inch or two, but the drawstrings are well done and keep the legs from fouling your feet. Pants are loose without being sloppy, and are very comfortable. This is a welcome change from most modern cuts which are way too tight around my thighs, butt, and crotch. I guess most people with 30" waists must be very small. I appreciated the athletic cut of these pants. The bad:Since these are 10% elastine (product page says "100% spandex" but also says "92% polyester, 8% spandex - now you know the actual %'s), I knew they were probably closer to 8% than 100%, but even at that ratio, expected them to match the stretch of some of my other technical garments. Realistically, they probably don't even stretch as much as my 2% elastine/98% cotton comfort flex jeans. I'm guessing the cotton in my jeans has more natural stretch than the recycled polyester that these pants are made of. They mostly make up for it with a generous cut that gives plenty of room for movement, but I wanted more for the $70 price point. You'll feel a slight tug here and there when stretching or making larger moves on the wall with these pants.Other notes:Front pockets could also be a little deeper, but I did like the depth, zipper, and placement of the single back pocket (on left side). The zipper allows you to secure your wallet or phone, and the slight-outside alignment means the contents slide nicely off to the side of your rear end so you don't have to sit on them. The lower right leg has a small zippered pocket that could be used to hold chapstick or a credit card/cash, without getting pinched by a climbing harness. The mesh material for the pockets is nice so that you don't accumulate little bits of sand/grit if you're using these for outdoor climbing. Stitching seems to be adequate quality. If these were $40 pants, I'd probably go out and buy 2 more pairs. At $70 I am going to keep looking for the *perfect* pant.Quality 4/5Features 5/5Comfort 5/5Value 4/5OVERALL 4.5/5Comfort 5/5Features 4/5Value 4/5Overall 4/5

Nice lightweight pants, they do run very small
Pros: I liked these pants a lot, they're made of a very lightweight but sturdy fabric with some stretch to it, and feel similar to REI hiking pants I've had in the past. They're super long which is fine because like most climbing pants they have elastic cords at the bottom of each leg to cinch them up anyway. I like the secure zippered pocket for keys or credit card too.Cons: I ordered the size that fits me in every other brand of US and EU climbing pants, and it fits VERY snug. They still work because of the stretch in the fabric, but if you want a looser fit rather than form-fitting definitely size up.Also the front pockets are small and kind of shallow and there are none in the back, more what I'd expect from a women's pant that's trying to keep a slim silhouette. I like to jam my phone, wallet, keys and usually more in my pockets as I'm driving to the gym and these didn't accommodate that.Final thoughts: if you want a really light pant for hotter weather and don't mind small pockets, these are great if you size up. If you want pants with more heavy duty fabric and huge pockets that can transition from everyday wear to the gym, I recommend buying some E9 pants (a little more expensive though) or looking at other brands.

Super Climbing and Bouldering Pants
I’m 6’2”/175lbs, with beefy cyclist quads and the large fits perfectly. The pants are perfect for climbing: abrasion resistant, they move with you, breathe and are lightweight.I love the cord at the ankles, the micro zippered pockets, and chalk bag holder in the rear; all were very well designed.Plus, they are made in Ukraine, a nice feel good bonus. I can’t recommend them highly enough.DN

Really great climbing pants
I am very happy with this purchase.Great pants, very comfortable, great fit, tried them several times at the rock gym and they are flexible but also not tight fitting in my opinion just right. Exactly what I wanted.

Not worth the $60+
I’ve been rock climbing for ten years. I bought these because I was tired of spending $80 on pants that inevitably get torn up at a crag or gym. In short, I hate these things. The draw strings feel like they’re made of paper, and are a pain to tie. There is no fly, so you have to untie/retie anytime you have to use the bathroom. Only one back pocket and it’s on the left. I thought this would be passable, but I can’t stand it. The side pocket is cut to the back of the leg which makes using it very uncomfortable. Putting your phone in it feels like someone is trying to knock you down by kicking the back of your knee. The front pockets are way too shallow. They will not hold anything with confidence, especially while you’re climbing. I see people writing reviews about how great the pants look, and how the pants make them look like “pros,” but this is laughable. No one cares what other people are wearing in a climbing gym. I say “gym,” because you’re not wearing these against real rock, at least not for long. The material is thin, and no matter how “tear resistant” they claim to be, or how many extra stylish seems they add to the knees, they will not hold up as well as stretch denim. I also see the price has increased more than $10 since I purchased them, making them just as expensive pair of stretch-denim jeans (which you can also wear to work, and other places), so there is no point at all to buying these pants. If you want to climb like a pro, train for years, get good at climbing, and get sponsored. Then you can dress up and become a climbing advertisement, convincing collage kids that they need to wear $80 pants to climb up a wall.

(Sort of like a "GAMING" computer chair is just a more expensive ...
At first, I was hesitant because I thought that the fact that those were designed for climbing in particular would add to the price without contributing to the product in a meaningful way and would be kind of a gimmick. (Sort of like a "GAMING" computer chair is just a more expensive chair with colored stripes on it). I was pleasantly surprised once I received then and tried climbing with them and I can confirm that it's definitely not a gimmick. The articulated knees give virtually no resistance at all when raising your legs. The fabric is extremely light but feels durable and has elastic properties to it. I wear usually wear 32" pants and those fit perfectly without having to tighten them further with the cord but I still have the option. Climbing with those on, you completely forget about them because they are so well designed. Feels like you 'rewearing nothing at all! (Stupid Sexy Flanders). They

Fit well and comfortable
Got these in a small, I'm 6' and 155 lbs and they fit well. Note the drawstring seems to be somewhat short on the waist (perhaps due to me being on the higher end of the small sizing at 31" waist). Very comfortable and breathable, but can be worn in colder weather when heading to the climbing gym.I mainly do indoor toprope climbing and time will tell on the longevity of these pants; I will update my review to reflect how they cope with the unavoidable scrapes and wear and tear.UPDATE: This is an update from my original review in Nov 2016 (now Feb 2017). The pants have held up well, the material has been scuffed in some spots which is inevitable but it has definitely saved my legs and knees from several scrapes. I've now also started doing bouldering more often than toproping and these pants continue to perform well.

Like the pants but they shipped the wrong colour
We ordered these in the Graphite but received the Mustard colour instead. When my son tried them on, he didn't want to give them up despite the shipping mistake. He immediately wore them to the gym and was raving about how comfortable they were. It is hard to find pants that fit his very thin frame. I might buy another pair if these wear well.
