Inuyasha: Season 1 - Episodes 1-12 [DVD]

I love this series so much...it had me laughing out loud...that I have ordered the complete everything, series and movies, on another site. Loved it.

Arrived on time and works fine

This anime is great - but like others have already pointed out, there is a very noticeable delay between the voices and the subtitles on disk 2, which is very off-putting.This is obviously a major problem with this DVD set, so I don't understand why Amazon haven't warned buyers about the error in their ales description.Buy at your own risk!

Sound out of sync on disc 2 by a significant amount, unwatchable. Known defect. Find an alternative way of watching this series until they make an improved release

Well yes, Inuyasha is wonderful, but I'm not sure about this particular DVD.I've bought it 3 times now and have had to send it back each time due to DVD defect. On the second disc, none of the dialogue or sound matches up with the images. Therefore, you get character's mouths moving 3 seconds after speech is heard, you hear Sesshoumaru's whip crack 3 seconds before he actually cracks his whip. It's just awful to watch and continues through all the episodes 7-12.So yes, for all the wonders of the story and characters and enjoyment this anime series brings, read another review on this page. But of this actual product? I'd be wary.You *may* get a DVD set that's fine, but I don't think "3 products, same defect, same disc," is just a coinsidence. I think it's a product defect that is so with many other of these DVDs.I was really disappointed too, after waiting so long for Inuyasha to come to the UK, but now I don't want to try and get this product again, because it's wasted enough of my time already. I'll just get the US versions and hope they work.

Daughter was thrilled with this. Delivery was quick.

Kagome, Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, Kirara and Shippo now must defeat their most hated enemy, Naraku! Like DragonBall Z, the humor of Inuyasha is balanced with its stunning action sequences, but what ultimately makes InuYasha so, very, very, watchable are the great characters and strong storyline that include the elements all of the great Anime themes of Fantasy, Love, Comedy, Tragedy, and Friendship !For the last couple of years Inuyasha has been one of the top-rated anime series on Japanese TV. Cartoon Network in America has aired all the episodes of the series, because of the great and continuing popularity it has also achieved a huge fan community on the internet and I'm most definately one - watch it ! You won't be disappointed !I recommend it wholeheartedly !
