Scotchgard Fabric and Upholstery Cleaner with Scotchgard Protector, 388 ml

I was recently given a second hand fabric sofa in a creamy beige/gold colour. The sofa is gorgeous and I wanted to keep it as clean as I could (and get rid of a few marks - mainly on the arms) so I bought some of this. I knew the sofa stores used this (only they charge you a stupid amount for having them do it for you). I ordered the twin-pack and have only so far used half (maybe less even) of one can. At first I never saw a huge difference but gave it a second application and now it has lifted the stains to barley there. Also, so far it seems to be keeping the sofas clean and grub-free. This is a great product and I would recommend it to any one to try :) I thought the price was good too as I know this is quite expensive else where. It smells really nice and fresh and is very easy to apply. It comes out in a mouse form and dries quickly. Delivery was fast and the products were well packaged.

Good product, certainly worked well for me but the nozzle could be improved as not as easy to control as other products I’ve used. Makes the job a bit messy.

I used this product on my cream sofa that had a water stain. the stain almost disappear, but it left the fabric of a colour somehow different, so now I can see the edges of where I used it and where not. So I would recommend to use it on the whole surface instead of just on the spot. ah, and my sofa is fairly new, so it's not that one area is clean and the other is not. It made the fabric slightly darker.

I can't rate this highly enough. I left my gym bag on our spare bed, which had a white cover, and white mattress protector. Came back from the gym and noticed to my horror that the shower gel had leaked, and caused the dark blue dye to leech from the bag on the bedspread. I lifted the cover to find it had gone through to the protector and mattress! Luckily my wife was at work and I had visions of the conversation when she got home. I was in a blind panic thinking how on earth I could rectify this mess. I decided to give this Sctogguard a go, I had nothing to lose, arrived last week and was primarily for a new sofa we had purchased. I started on the mattress and to my amazement after three go's the stain disappeared . I then tried it on the mattress protector and again the stain went after two applications. I wish I hadn't put the bedspread straight in the washing machine as I tried using laundry stain remover without success. If not I'll give this a go on the bedspread. Fingers crossed. This stuff is truly amazing with unbelievable stain removal powers.

Probably OK for light cleaning but even after 2 sessions would not budge some ground in dirt. Hired a professional cleaner and very happy with the result. Would certainly recommend this product as easy to use and effective for 'spring' cleaning once a year or so.

I used this on a rug I bought as the rug was white I decided to scotch guard it. I followed the instructions and left the rug to dry. I hovered the rug as per instructions and the next day something was spilt on it which soaked straight through even though I tried to dab it off the surface. Wouldn’t waste my money.

did not receive the correct item. Ordered the 3M 1014R Fabric and upholstery cleaner and received carpet and furniture cleaner so had to return item.
