Great Quality, gets the job DONE!
When I first laid eyes on this dock, I didn't think much, it's just a dock. But when I actually laid my hands and touched it, it feels like a cool brushed metal. It doesn't feel cheap and has a good weight to it which screams quality. It looks great. The bottom has a non-slip grip, the deck plops nicely into place, and the cable feels sturdy. I've tested the gigabit port and that seems to work fine. I've tried one of the USB ports and that seems to be functioning as well. I can tell the designers put a lot of thought into designing this dock, the extra opening spot for the Deck's intake is genius. While docked, I was able to connect to my 1440p monitor and it looked great. I have a Marselle HDMI upscaler mClassic too, and EEeeehhhh... it looks good with the Steam Deck docked but kinda not really noticeable (as it does with the Nintendo Switch too...). Will need to do more testing on this one. One strange thing, after the deck patched itself, I had to replug the power cable once or twice to get a signal. It resolved the issue after several tries which I'm glad, but I'm hoping that's just a one time thing and I don't have to deal with that problem again. I'll update my review otherwise. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and definitely recommend. Great work Warrky!

After updating the steam deck firmware, it's been working flawlessly.
I take my steam deck to my cousin's a lot and mostly the setting is to connect usb 3.0 gamepads, external hard drive for game storage, Sony TV, the network, and a charging cable, so all the ports were tested. At first I had trouble running games on tv, but I found os updates on the steam deck official and made it work. Now the picture via hdmi 2.0 is so clear and smooth at 1440p 144hertz, way better than it was via hdmi 1.4 with an adapter which gave only 60 hertz. The experience changed instantly expecially when you play on a large display! And the dock has a special design that I like in particular - you can store the usb c cable directly into the bottom of the dock so it'd be like a plain base, shove it in your bag and off you go, no worries about cable fraying. All in all, the dock itself works great, but you'd better watch out for Valve official updates to make sure nothing goes wrong.

Pleasantly surprised
I was honestly surprised at the quality of this dock. It’s got a nice weight, so the Deck feels secure in it, the materials feel premium, love that there are rubber protection all around where your Deck sits, and the design is thoughtful with the vent cutout, and the back raised higher than other competing brands, so your Deck can rest there more securely. Honestly, I feel like this is the best dock for the Deck right now, and it should be more known. Great value for what you’re getting. Setup was a breeze after reading Warrky’s provided instruction above. I’ve set in the game properties to use “Native” instead of “Default” resolution, so your game adapts to the higher res, if playing with higher than 800p.

Good stand
Overall I really like this stand. It's got a little weight to it and feels well built with the metal (unlike cheaper plastic ones). The power cord folds into a notch on the bottom keeping storage clean. The inside is covered in a soft rubber. That padding doesn't come up all the way though so you have to be careful to lift the deck straight out. If you pulled it forward to get it out, there could be contact with uncovered metal. It wouldn't hurt it if you did that a few times since the metal is rounded, but it could potentially leave marks if you did that regularly. Stand has rubber on the bottom and doesn't move at all even when using the touch screen. Holds the deck securely. The vent is clear on the back and all the ports work like they should. The section that the back leans against is raised above the rest of the dock so it will stick up if you're storing it with other accessories in a case. I'm glad there's no port on the side of the dock (looks cleaner) and the logo on the front didn't stand out like some others I'd considered.

Love hate relationships with steam deck stands
It worked as intended for the first month but I find a reacuring issue with repetitive use on the cable. It's seems like after unplugging it and plugging it back in a few hundred times it's relatability drops off massively for the display output sometimes not at all giving an output signal. And eventually not charging ing while still letting other devices connect and read like mouse keyboard external drivers etc witch pisses me off that the 2 essential parts of a good dock are the first to go on these things,

Beyond expectations. Great n affordable alternative to the official one
I bought a cheap ivolver dock and it was so buggy with on&off connection problems all the time and the charging port malfunctioned after one week. Then the official dock came out with a price that exceeded my budget while it's plastic- seriously? Finally found this one and got an upgrade with the beautiful metal case, 100w fast charging (compared to ivolver's 65w), and a gigabit network port. There is a really nice grip material on the bottom of it so it doesn't slide off. And with an ergonomic lifted area on the L-shape Type C, you can pop it out easily. Also, kudos for being able to take the thick deck skin perfectly which was not so much with the previous dock. The quality, design, and performance so far have definitely gone beyond the price. Would recommend to friends.

Perfect. EXACTLY what I needed. IF YOU HAVE A CASE ON YOUR DECK BUY THIS DOCK.
Title says it all but not only is this thing sharp with the aluminum body and not overly-flashy/gawdy, but it is the only dock on Amazon that advertises openly that it’s a great fit with Steam Deck cases. Just about every other on is made for baseless Steam Decks, which is silly but there you go. This dock took every bit of the issues I’d had with my other dock out of the equation. Additionally, I love the length of the cord; other docks do not manage the cable well, so they’re very short, which is not the case here. If you have a case on your Steam Deck, buy this dock.

This has a premium look and feel with its aluminum/plastic casing. Has some weight to it so it doesnt slip easily. Other hubs have more ports but then are also pricer. If you are looking for something adequate/basic then consider this hub. 3 usb ports, hdmi n network port (specs in the advert). You also need to use a separate power supply as none supplied. Happy with it as it does what its supposed to with minimal fuss to connect the Steam Deck to monitor, keyboard and mouse!
