I'm not a huge fan of belts with this locking mechanism but I decided to give one a try. The quality feels great especially for the price. This belt is not stretchy, it's more of a leather-like material that stays in place. Love the black, carbon fibre-like finish of both the belt and the buckle. The buckle is good quality and will probably outlasts the belt itself, and the locking mechanism is easy to maneuver (lock, adjust, and release). I appreciate the fact that they made it in a way that you can buy a size range and cut off the excess to your fit. I also like that unlike traditional holed belts, the different locking ranges has more increments that makes adjustments more precise. Let's see how well it holds up and how long it lasts. If it goes over a year for me wearing it daily then that will be a good enough deal for me.

Very easy to size, and very easy to micro adjust with the ratchet system. Decent looking belt for dress or casual (they have a lot of choices - I went for the blue carbon fiber look). Some reviewers have complained about cracking after a year of everyday wear. For the price the risk of that doesn't bother me much. I don't wear the same belt every day anyway. I am going to purchase another color at some point. The main pro, imo, is that it is super easy to loosen or tighten on the fly, based on the lever system they use. You just flick the lever at the bottom of the buckle if you want to loosen it, or just pull it a little tighter, really the easiest system I have ever seen. And the sizing is so granular, you can get the exact fit at a moments notice. Just had a big meal? Pull the lever, let it out a smidge, literally on the spot, no one will even notice you doing it. Phenomenal. Cons? Meh, not really for the price, but the material is not exactly luxury. Perfectly adequate though, and it looks great, it's just not, you know, like super soft, supple calf's leather or $250 alligator or lizard (if you even want that). This is not a hedge-fund CEO belt, it's an everyone else belt, lol. Although, tbh, even the hedge-fund guy could pull it off, only the snootiest of his or her peers would notice. So if you are a hedge-fund guy or girl - I say go for it. Open your fist, let a little of that grifted cash out of it, and live a little :)

I really like this belt. Changed the size easily to fit. Connects up easily and holds well. My only problem is that the buckle falls off the end of the belt it is attached to 3 or 4 time s a week. I'll be putting it on my pants and when I go to buckle it, the buckle is missing. I find it on the floor or on the bed. The part that grips the end of the belt just opens up. 5-stars if they can fix that.

Pro: I really like these belts with the ratchets! They look sharp, are the right width to fit all of my pant belt loops, and are a game changer for ease and speed of adjustment and comfort. Con: after some time the teeth, which hold the leather belt to the buckle do not hold as well and the buckle can fall off. You can snip off a bit of the leather and it will hold again but you can only do that so many times. They need to rethink how they make those metal barbs grip the leather, but otherwise the overall idea is awesome especially considering the price. I bought 3 more!
