Work safely and well and offer good value for money
The most important aspect of brake pads is that they work effectively and stop a bike quickly and safely. My previous brake pads had worn very thin and emitted ominous squeaking noises whenever I applied the brake levers, so it was definitely time to replace them. I am aware that it is becoming increasingly harder to rely on previous reviews as they can be written by interested parties - so in writing a review I tend to include the kind of information which indicates it is written by a genuine buyer. These pads were comparatively cheap compared with others and are not a named brand. However, they appeared to have reasonable reviews and having bought and fitted a pair I have cycled over 200 miles and they still work well. They certainly appear to be good value for money.

Good quality but I needed an extra washer
These were delivered quickly and the product was branded as expected.My only issue with these was that, with the nut tightened as far as it would go, there was still a gap between all the washers. This gap was just marginally wider than the metal of the V-brake mechanism, so left the pads loose. I remedied this by adding a washer from the old pads.Perhaps there was some human error here. I tried several times to get the nut to tighten further but it appears it's designed to leave that gap.That said, the pads were still easy to fit and my son's bike now stops properly, so he's happy.

Easy to install and nice brake pads
I put them on my carrera parva mtb/hybrid 27 inch wheels. Decent braking power. I am yet to test them on the wet weather though.

Excellent Brake Shoes
Great price (£1.99 a pair), great service (Arrived in a couple of days. Free postage.) and great shoes. I have fitted a set of these to my bike and unlike some non-branded ones which I had previously bought on Amazon, they haven't worn out in five minutes. I will definitely be buying these again.
