In 1977, the label commissioned Magistretti to produce the stunning Atollo Table Lamp. Magistretti was an acclaimed Italian designer and architect who played a leading role in the Modernist movement in Milan. His Atollo lamp has won numerous awards, including the Compasso d'Oro in 1979, and it has been part of many museum collections around the world.This elegant lamp has become a design classic, instantly recognizable for its characteristic, geometric 'mushroom' shape, consisting of an inverted semi-sphere on top of an illuminated, cylindrical base.
