NOT waterproof and dies in the wet.
I have used this torch since it was delivered in mid-November - about five weeks ago and it has now died and functions no more.ANNOYANCES The torch comes without the 3 18650 batteries it requires. These cost an additional £20 taking the price from £26.41 to £46.41. The light mode button is **infuriating** and you have to cycle through all 6 modes to get back to the one you want. There is no beam focus so you have to put up with the beam width as it is out of the box which is rather narrow. The torch lasted for about 5 weeks then got dimmer and would come back on again despite recharging the batteries fully. The light output is NOWHERE NEAR 12,000 lumens. I have an LEDlenser i18r which is rated as 3,000 and that is WAY brighter than this torch. It is pretty long in 3 battery mode and has an annoying flat surface just where you want to grip it. No lanyard supplied either.ABOVE ALL THE TORCH IS NOT WATERPROOF. I noticed when taking the batteries out for recharging that the tubular body of the torch was damp inside, and when I used a kitch towel to run through the length it came out damp too. This may be why the torch no longer functions, but it is marketed as, " waterproof design. You can use it in the rainy day" when you obviously cannot.LIKESWhen it worked it worked well, provided that you remembered to put it into the mode you wanted it to turn on in befire you turned it off!!It's now going back to Amazon and I'll use my £26.41 elsewhere.

Seems well made but although the light is bright, the beam throw / distance is disappointing

Doesn't work, not even once - utterly useless.
I am so utterly disappointed with this useless piece of metal. I loaded the fully charged batteries and it doesn't even work. What a joke. I have no idea how good it's supposed to be because it's a duff product straight off the bat. Don't bother wasting your money. I'm returning this.

Only worked fir 20 min
Put the batteries in, disappointed with the alleged brightness claims, but worse still, after 20 minutes if use it just stopped working completely. Changed batteries, but now it’s just it’s just a paperweight, I woujd not recommend buying this product
