FAS1 Case for iPad 2/3/4 Case Cover,NEW Clear Soft TPU Skin Gel Silicone Back Case Protector for Apple iPad 2/3/4 (Transparent)

I have an older iPad than this with the same sort of cover. It was great, so when I got my newer slightly bigger iPad, I wanted the same.This took ages to arrive (though it was not late), but it looks really good, fits perfectly, and all the buttons, speakers, camera and the charging port are all properly aligned. It's a nice snug fit and the case is low profile.It's a case designed to prevent scratches rather than absorb impacts and for that it is perfect and exactly what I was looking for.It doesn't get in the way of your iPad experience. Definitely a great buy.It may well go a bit yellow over time like my last one did, but that doesn't bother me really.

Contrary to several negative reviews, the FAS1 clear semi-flexible rear cover works very well and attaches snugly to the back of my 2018 iPad. Once in place it remains secure protecting the iPad very effectively from knocks and scratches.A number of reviewers complained that the FAS1 is not compatible with the Apple Brand Magnetic Cover but I did not find this to be the case. With the magnetic strip of the Apple Smart (front) cover clicked to the top edge of the iPad, it is then relatively easy to slip the lip of the FAS 1 plastic cover over the edge of the hinge allowing the Apple front cover to function quite normally.One reviewer reported having to trim the rear cover with a craft knife. This seems unnecessary however I did find that by warming the edge of the plastic cover very carefully with a hair dryer on the warm (NOT HOT) setting helped the cover to mould neatly around the magnetic strip.

This case fits my iPad pro 10.5 very well. I think the case is of good quality.My only problems with it are that because the case goes over the volume and sleep/wake buttons, they are a lot harder to press now. I would prefer it if the case had cut outs for the buttons. Another minor issue was that it is a little tougher to get the charger into the tablet with the case and when I do, it makes the screen protector around the home button raise off the tablet (like a bubble) and I have to fiddle with the case a little to put the screen protector back down.However, I do really like the case overall and I am impressed with the quality.

It’s largely good. My only irritation is the top right hand side where the volume buttons are. It’s not very easy to adjust the volume up or down. The case isn’t pliable enough to allow. You have you press in the exact point really really hard. I find I have to use my nail. So I wouldn’t buy this again.

I love the gel cases and have one on my iPhone X also. They give you amazing grip on your phone or tablet with one hand. They are also great for laying down on a table as they don’t slip around. They seem to give great protection around the back and all the corners. I haven’t touch wood dropped mine as yet so cannot vouch for a heavy drop test. The only downside for me is using the volume buttons and the power button, this is very stiff and after a few months usage it doesn’t feel like it is going to get any softer. It is a good idea to have the buttons covered as it keeps out the dust but it just feels as though you have to force the buttons sometimes. Maybe if you had the option to have cutouts for the buttons that would be a big bonus.

I have had so many different covers for my iPads and am sick of the ones with hard edges which crack easily (especially at the corners) or split after a couple of months where the cover folds over, or the heavy ones, or the ones with a magnetic "off" mechanism when you close the cover which don't always work. Turns out this soft gel skin type is all I needed and it makes it so easy to hold without slipping from my hand. I don't take the iPad out and about much at all so don't need screen protection (and if I do, I can put it in a separate bag of some sort). Wish I'd always just had this instead of wasting tens of pounds over the last 7 years on the ones mentioned earlier in my review.

I've just purchased this as my 2nd case I've 1 pad Air and one 1 ipad 8 both are incredible cases and save so much of my battery, I'd never go back to any other case these are by far the best 👌 5 stars always.

I bought this for my iPad Air 2 because I thought the silicone/plasticy material might make it 'sticky' and therefore easier to hold with one hand for long periods (while typing with the other). But, if anything, the case makes the device more slippery to hold. Moreover, and oddly, although the case is very lightweight, when it's attached to the (lightweight) Air 2 the device becomes bulky and feels much heavier to hold. Figure that! Anyway that negates the whole purpose of the purchase. Therefore I cannot recommend though I do accept others may have had a different experience. The case itself is decent quality, at a good price, so I'm not going to be harsh with my rating.
