As a peri, this is an excellent book for a good grade 2+ standard pupil. Has a huge contents page and some great tunes for work on upper reg for clarinet. Flute one just started using with a pupil- has the same tunes in same keys (as far as I've seen) so good for mixed groups/junior orchestra. DRAWBACK...the playalong CD needs to be downloaded onto a computor/laptop then transferred to a memory stick! Ball ache!! Why they can't just put a normal CD in these books fails me. Therefore kids with no CD drive can't download! Tut!!

These are excellent books with very good MP3 backing and demo tracks. Don't be put off by the reviews saying the CD is blank. It is not! It's a data CD and contains folders with the audio tracks and PDF piano scores. It's easy to transfer the tracks to a computer where they can be converted to .WAV files if that's what you need to play the music on a CD player. The CD also contains a speed change programme if the music is too fast for you.

This is a fantastic book, if you like film music - it actually has 60 songs on it, including several different tracks from Star Wars, Harry Potter, James Bond, Lord of the Rings, Wizard of Oz (not clear that there are this many songs from the current product description) so it's amazingly good value. The CD has a good quality demo track plus a backing track for each piece (i.e. 120 tracks.) My pupils from ABRSM Grade 2 to Grade 6 are enjoying these.

Book is great but CD doesn’t work which is VERY disappointing.

The mp3 cd did not play very disappointed ☹️
