AMAZING , works like a dream, I was so sceptical but it honestly works with the vilest of cheeses bought by my husband which previously were banished to the garage. I ca keep my delicate cheeses in there in a beeswax wrapper alongside his horrendous smelling things and they do not contaminate and the fridge is also clear of smells. I do believe that it must be powered by some kind of cheese voodoo , I don’t know but it works.

Really useful for keeping your cheese fresh especially important to take the cheese out of its plastic packaging and then use wax paper sheets to wrap it in

I bought the Cheese Preserver to provide a single place to house various cheeses, rather than the haphazard storage of various cheese remnants to dry out and go mouldy in hidden locations in the fridge.The Cheese Preserver also seems to keep the cheeses longer.There is no odour, probably because of the clever filter design (change filter every six months, with a useful calendar dial as part of the box, to remind you when you last changed it).Essentially this is a tray with a cover: the cover fits snugly but there is no fiddling with 'snap on' lids, it just lifts off.

At last, a cheese box which keeps the cheese fresh! We did have a so called cheese box which was similar to this but with the obvious omission of the breathing and filtering apparatus on the top. We were seriously considering trying to drill some holes in the box we had but then I found this one on Amazon. Of course I checked the length and breadth of the internet to find it cheaper but this at £9.30 including the postage was the best price. I would say that it is well worth the money. It comes with several replacement filters for when you need them.We have had it now for a couple of weeks. We challenged it by putting in a variety of cheeses (brie, wensleydale, a blue cheese, caerphilly, double gloucester with chives). We put them in without any packaging as advised in the instructions. The cheese is keeping really well, there is no mould and the cheese is not drying out. You can put the box on the table and serve the cheese from there.The old cheese box was always running with condensation and despite carefully wrapping the cheese in absorbent kitchen paper it would go mouldy and slimy quite quickly. This box does get a very little bit of condensation but compared with the last one it is hardly noticeable.The box is big enough for several cheeses to be stored at once but not too big to fit in the fridge. It just sits there doing its job. A box that does what it says. I suppose this is what you would expect as it is a French product and they are world experts on cheese.The old cheese box is now perfect for storing loaf shaped cakes so it hasn't gone to waste.

this is a good quality product, I've been using it for about three months. It does keep all cheesy smells locked up so my fridge smells clean. In terms of keeping the cheese fresh for longer, it is true up to a point: if all the pieces are without wrapping, it'll keep fresh for about 3-4 days. You'll have to wrap each individual piece in waxed paper if you wish to keep them for longer, unless you have just one variety of cheese in the box (eg your cheddar will start having a blue cheese after taste if they're kept together for a week without wrapping).In terms of service, my order arrived chipped. I reported it and a replacement was sent promptly. Very happy.

Nice quality but disappointingly too small. I should have checked the size instead of relying on the description as this was not what I would call large and would only hold 3 packs of cheese F b you buy a Big block of cheddar like us. so just check the size to ensure it’s big enough for your use.

This cheese preserver actually really does work !!I have previously purchased cheese preservers that were full of promise but actually failed to deliver.I came across this one by accident (or was it ) while looking for something else and I’m so glad I did.I absolutely recommend it. Excellent service from the seller too.
