The Essential Britney Spears

I admit I didn't realise how many brilliant songs Britney has recorded until recently. I enjoyed a number of her early songs but then didn't continue to follow her career. I have now belatedly caught up and appreciate the 21 century output when she became a dangerous dance floor diva.In particular I love Break The Ice with its rapid fire vocal and sultry voice over. I must also mention Gimme More, Circus, Hot As Ice, Till the World Ends, and the sweet Criminal. A special mention for Do Somethin which is possibly not widely known outside of the Britneyverse which is one of the best and most memorable tracks on this two CD set.What's not to love when you have 32 songs to choose from and each features Britney's inimitable vocal phrasing? My very small gripes would be that early favourite I Was Born To Make You Happy is a notable abseentee; and that You Drive Me Crazy and Overprotected are decent remixes but it would have been even better if the original versions were also included.If you have any interest in the music of Britney but don't have a vast collection of her recordings then this is a must have.Thank you Britney.

I have owned Britney Spears My Prerogative Greatest Hits From 2004 which had some Great tracks on it from Baby One More Time Born Too Make You Happy Sometimes Lucky You Drive Me Crazy and everything too 2003’s Me Against the Music and the recent 2004 Toxic and the 2005 Single Do Something too the Unreleased I have Just Began Having My Fun . I also owned The Singles Collection this newer release from 2013 is just well if You like Britney You will love this It begins with Track One Baby one More Time Track Two Sometimes Track Three You Drive Me Crazy Stop Remix it also has Gimme More Piece of Me Radar Break the Ice I love the newer Britney Tracks like amazing lyrics in Dance Pop 2011 Track Criminal Till The World Ends from Femme Fatale her 2011 album , I also love Hold It Against Me this time in Britney’s yet in the last thirteen or twelve Years in between a breakdown head shaving incident and custody Battle Britney with the mid Noughties 2007 Blackout Album and 2008’s Circus Britney manages too produce some great house tracks from Gimme More Radar Piece of Me Break the Ice , Circus Hold it Against Me Till the World Ends I Wanna Go Scream and Shout with Will.i.am From 2012 . It also has the Darkchild Remix of her classic song from 2001’s Britney Album Overprotected and other great oldies like Boys (The Co-Ed Remix featuring Pharrell Williams of N.E.R.D.) , and Me Against the Music From featuring Madonna , It is a fabulous trip down Memory Lane if You love Britney Spears a reinvention of Late Nineties Early Noughties hot teen queen that every boy fancied , the poster you had on your wall as a pop fan also her reinvention from former Americans Sweetheart too her fall from Grace too not so popular pop star of Course Britney is still popular and very much loved and even in her breakdown Years 2006 2007 2008 she still managed too produce great music and fabulous story telling Video Choreography , I love playing this album on my stereo I love the Early Britney Tunes as I love Nineties pop music and Britney certainly reinvented the 90’s pop scene If You like Britney Love Britney or just like similar music too her Christina Aguilera Demi Lovato Ariana Grande etc, You must have this in Your CD collection You won’t regret it .

Love this cd, takes me back, had a good sing along and dance around the kitchen when doing my housework.

Cd is fine, but the driver lied to me and pretended to help look for the packaged he'd just delivered near my house, before finally owning up that half way down my drive he'd thrown it over next doors fence!
