Crawford Chair and a Half Pillowback Swivel Glider

We've had this recliner for 4 months, within 1 month of having it the recliner started making a horrible squeaking sound when rocking. This progressed and we were not able to find the source of the sound or correct it. Its the last thing you want when rocking a sleeping baby. Additionally the fabric pilled within 3 months. We contacted their customer service about the squeaking issue and they said they said they would replace the chair. Then they said it was backordered and would not be able to ship until November (3 months later!). The squeaking really only gets worse so please do no purchase. Its a beautiful chair but not what you want to hear when rocking that baby to sleep.

I absolutely love this chair. I recently purchased another swivel rocker but both of my dogs like to sit with me so I decided to get an oversized chair. Now there’s enough room for me and both dogs. The color is a nice neutral ecru color and the fabric is like a good duck cloth.

If you have short haired pets, DO NOT buy this chair! I spend hours a week trying to get all the hair off of this chair the dogs have never even sat in, and it’s still a mess. I have a Great Dane with very short hair, and her hairs will be in this fabric forever. Because it’s a performance fabric it’s incredibly static-y and tightly woven, and even with tweezers it’s near impossible to get the hair out. I’ve finally given up and put a fitted sheet over the chair just to avoid losing my sanity completely. The chair itself is very comfortable! If I didn’t have dogs, I’d say it was one of my favorite baby items I bought. But because the fabric is impossible for me to clean even with hours and hours of work, I can’t give this more than 2 stars.

Was a gift for a new nursery

Whoever came up with the concept of attaching the back cushion of this chair with Velcro clearly has never had to quietly put a baby to sleep. If your weight shifts the wrong way while you’re rocking, the Velcro comes away and makes the loudest noise and will continue to do so until you reattach or adjust it. Also, the chair base squeaks SO LOUD. I have been using this chair for less than 5 months and I absolutely hate it. The size is great, but other than that it’s terrible. Would not recommend.

This is basically the only super wide glider I can find. I want to sit next to my toddler and glide…it seems like there would be tons of options for something like that but most of the “wide” chairs I could find were only a few inches wider than a normal glider. We can absolutely both comfortably fit in this, so for that I have to be somewhat grateful. However, it’s kind of crooked…maybe from weight distribution, but I try to swap sides from day to day to encourage even wear and it still seems to slant to one side. I actually had to return the first one for that issue right out of the box, and this one is better but still crooked to the same side as the first one. Maybe it would be more stable if it didn’t swivel and could just be a sturdier gliding mechanism, I don’t know. Also, the chair design isn’t the most comfortable. The back gets slouchy and the armrests are a joke, they’re so low that they’re basically just a side railing for the chair more than a functional arm rest. If other super wide gliders existed, I’m not sure this would still be in my house, but it’s fine and serves its purpose.
